I believe nobody is above criticism I'm neither dedicated labour or tory I tend to swing my vote depending. however I believe critsism should be free of political bias and given constructively. Whilst I think the government can suffer some criticism for being unprepared I also think that given it's a new virus and we have never had something like this in our lifetimes a little bit of learning as you go and mistakes are acceptable making comparisons is pointless now because whether people like it or not its likely every country will need to expose its citizens it's just doing it the right way.

I don’t think the British public would have stayed in and isolated unless the crisis had begun. It’s just not what a lot of brits do, as we’ve seen and see more and more now.

On the PPE. There should have been more and they should have got it faster. There never would’ve been as much as we wanted or needed though.

The lack of border controls was a very bad mistake. I wonder how many left wing hindsight merchants disagreed on closing borders on an ideological level.

Look, even private school teachers, head teachers and parents made the mistake of allowing pupils back into school, only to inform them not to attend the 2nd day. All over villagey bits of London there were people having coffee in coffee shops after a week in covid spreading ski resorts, bars and restaurants. They’re supposed to be the smart ones.

If you want to blame the government for not acting sooner then you probably have about 3 weeks as that is the time it seems we’re behind Italy or Spain.

Of course it’s a travesty nhs staff have died doing their job. If it had spread even faster than it did then at least we had the nightingale hospitals set up so that healthier people didn’t have to die because we weren’t prepared. But you just keep banging on about the same thing which you’re exaggerating anyway. The conservatives were not, are not, responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. You make it sound like local parks have bodies piled up ready for burial and Boris should be beheaded on tv.
