Latest poll has Tories one point ahead. Have the public sussed them at last? The latest Survation poll. ICM has the Tories 11 points ahead. It's the Ashcroft poll we need to look at - they called it right pretty much all through the 2015 campaign.

We saw what happened to the 2015 YouGov poll. Ed and Dave neck and neck. Dave comes away with a Majority.

Yep. They know what side their bread is buttered. It isn't necessarily a good thing for the country though.....The youth here....unless they have the bank of mum and dad....they get it way harder than the baby bloomers. They had the cake.....well the lower middle, middle and upper class lot did.

Nope, Labour will be battered. I'm just loving all this false hope. I'm use to you being wrong Kermy, let's just add this to the long list. I'm calling it - a hung Parliament. You reckon a landslide? Let's see who is closest.

I do think it'll be far better for 'turnout' and we'll then get a Government that the country truly wants rather than those that can be bothered.

Kermie - Labour need to recover lost ground in Scotland before they can even approach the numbers required for a hung Parliament. Both they and the SNP are losing ground to the Tories north of the border and they're going to have to gain there as well as overturn some pretty large majorities south of it. It's a rout.

I can't see a Hung Parliament. Corbyn campaigning and giving speeches in already Labour dominated areas like Gateshead (Which voted 60% for Labour in 2015) won't help his cause. He needed to focus on previous Labour/Lib Dem areas that the Tories took in 2015. Parts of Scotland, Wales and the SW. SNP for example look weaker this election than they did in 2015. I amn predicting a small increase in Majority for the Tories, 20/30 seat majority. Ashcroft I think has it 60 seats?

They've not really thought that one through, have they? Response is reasonable but a bit daft to do it in the first place given current sensibilities “What we are doing with that symbol – it’s an earring – is a reference to Theresa May’s Government’s relationship with Israel. “It is a critique of her foreign policy, rather than against religion. “I’m definitely not an antisemite”, Mr Masterson continued. “I have Jewish friends, and my half brother and sister are Jewish. “This is about foreign policy.”
