Don’t believe Houghton is purporting to be a financial guru of the club. We’re all well aware of the £45 mil loss in the last two accounts and whatever in the next set of accounts. You can call that having no money. I don’t know what else there is to reveal and on just this which we all know Ray Houghton is correct.

Sorry to break this to you,EC, but Rudi and Painter are spot on here in my view. Your posts on this thread come across to me as sh*t stirring, whinging, and "look at me". Polite request mate, just give it a rest? I don’t care what you, Painter or Rudi think, it’s a discussion board and at the moment it’s looking that what I was speculating is looking more and more correct. Take a look at the last 5 pages, there has been more whinging and speculation than anything I raised. So, do as you politely said and give it a rest yourself fella. Another three days and we will have our answer so I’m saying nothing more.

The Independent is claiming that Zaha is expecting to join Everton for £65m prior to the window closing ( those mysterious sources again). So Wilf's roumoured reasons for leaving us are to play in Champs League - are Everton in that - no, are they likely to be anytime soon - no..!! Move on - non story in what will be a halter skelter ride over the next couple of days of media generated nonsense regarding Wilf..!! IMO he will be with us for this season then go to Chelsea at the end of the season - then good luck to him gives him everything he wants - stay in London and Champs League football- to prove himself on the big stage..!! What a blooooody shambles. Plenty of things about Palace are shambolic but I can't see what we were meant to do differently re. Wilf. We didn't seem to get a vaguely sensible bid for him.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle The Independent article is FAKE NEWS, designed to create clicks for cash. Players like Zaha are a football celebrity cash cow. Everton publicly stated that the matter is closed. I trust that far more than the ball-washing liars in the media. Sky news are the worst. Wilf has been fulfilling his media duties for the club, photo shoots, and has been back in training. Roy says all is well. All the snowflakes on this forum need to calm down.
I am not a bot. No, seriously, I'm not. |

I'm not trying to join your little squabble but arnt we all just speculating nothing is fact at this time. Even if Wilf is pictured in an Everton shirt tomorrow I wouldn't believe it till the window shuts .

The Independent is claiming that Zaha is expecting to join Everton for £65m prior to the window closing ( those mysterious sources again). Who knows when to ‘trust’ a rumour and when not? But it’s usually the case that when a player really wants to leave ( and Zaha clearly does) the club really can’t stop it happening. Can we get someone in to replace him in time.....?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle No smoke without fire and even though just days remain before the window shuts,it may just be possible that if Wilf is so desperate to play elsewhere and avoid the annual struggle to avoid relegation that seems to haunt the Club every year, then Parish may agree to a significant up front fee and have Everton send us both Tosun and McCarthy as part of the deal.
