Ireland, where it is lower. I was talking to a guy from a fairly large company who said their development plans were on hold until after the election, with a contingency plan to relocate to Eire if Corbyn wins.

I doubt he will be the only one thinking on the same lines if by some fluke Corbyn gets in...

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

More costs to running a business than corporation tax eg business rates. It's why you have to look at the whole cost not one specific tax / charge

Latest poll has Tories one point ahead. Have the public sussed them at last?

Where did they conduct that poll? In the Labour headquarters canteen?

The key to Labour winning is getting the yout' off their lazy arses to vote...it's alright being keyboard warriors on social media...but to get up and be bothered to vote is where it may all fall down..

Nope, Labour will be battered. I'm just loving all this false hope.

I'm use to you being wrong Kermy, let's just add this to the long list.

There is truth to this.

The country as a whole is definitely more left than right.

But the left contain a hell of a lot of feckless thoughtless people. A large number will always not vote.

This form of Labour don't have an ice cube's chance in Rachel Riley's butt.

...as a consequence I could see the Tories resisting any attempt to 'automate' voting as their biggest voter base are clearly the Greys, who aren't as tech savvy.

May has big balls.....

I think the media might be playing up the 'stats' a bit, to make the election more exciting. Labour would count a hung parliament as a major victory.

Still, it'd be nice if it was close. The UK usually fairs better with parties that don't have a big majority.
