Your rubbish might fool those that didn't watch PMQs but unfortunately for you some of us did. Dominic Raab did quite well in the circumstances whilst Rayner didn't so much as ask questions but she just ranted. I suppose that's the problem when you have a deputy leader foisted on you by your trade union masters. The stupid woman seemed to forget that the citizens are in financial difficulties and preferred to rant about irrelevancies. Jacob Rees-Mogg certainly made the woman look rather stupid

Has to go. Reputation gone. Amazed that he can carry on you would expect to be suspended pending investigation. And Deputy PM. Indeed Steeleye- he will have to go! And fair play to Angie today- "whats he doing here?"- priceless, just priceless!

There are questions... I would say that there are reasonable doubts about the wisdom of green lighting it initially.....for me, the time, cost and technological method deserve criticism and scrutiny. There will be a benefit to the system.....however how much bang per buck it is....for how long will that benefit last with new technologies?.... Have our best minds really got the right answer on that? I don't know. However, I imagine scrapping it now would come at massive extra penalty cost. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Nov 2022 2.10pm) I never agreed with it being approved, would not be adverse to it being scrapped but the “ levelling up” brigade may throw a hissy fit

Who knows what went on, but as I have said before, I wouldn’t necessarily believe a Senior Civil Servant, many of them are politicised ( although some on here don’t believe that), Senior Civil Servants are not adverse to dishing it out

I can’t for the life of me think why anyone believes Angela Rayner should be anywhere near Parliament let alone a possible Deputy PM. Always found her to fall back on being totally unnecessarily aggressive. I suppose that’s what the Unions want It's rather amusing that she was ranting and raving this morning about Dominic Raab supposedly bullying his staff. The only bullying on display today was from the Rayner creature and Jacob Rees-Mogg's response was pure gold

You are so indoctrinated that you can't see the wood from the trees. Jacob's so called drivel was reminding Labour about their hypocrisy Jacob Rees-Mogg delivered a scathing attack against Labour over their own bullying allegations after Angela Rayner took a pointed dig at Dominic Raab. In a pointed dig at the Opposition, the Conservative MP for North East Somerset reminded the Labour benches some of their own MPs had left Parliament because of anti-semitic bullying and BBC journalist Laura Kuennsberg had been left needing bodyguards at Labour conferences. He said: "I wonder if my right honourable friend has noticed if the people who are currently criticising him have a record of bullying second to none. "A Labour member of Parliament left Parliament because of anti-semitic bullying. "A distinguished BBC journalist needed bodyguards at Labour Party Conferences. "And a current member of the Labour Party was suspended from the service of this House for bullying."

I'm fully behind the upgrading of infrastructure to compete in the modern world. However, you would hope that what this would look like, in terms of funded projects, would be decided by our brightest minds and I'm not convinced it is. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Nov 2022 5.44pm)
