One of my friends loves to share pictures of the public pre and post war (pre Windrush). These could be street scenes or a football match or the 1936 coronation anyway the point is you see hundreds of faces.

Sorry BBC but they show Britain as a mono culture back then.

trying to re-write history.
I watched a 'news item' for 10 seconds yesterday , where they interviewed the BBC reporter Clive Myrie. It turns out that he's just having a book published,...so this interview wasn't really a self-serving advertisement for a product, because that would be breaching the terms of their operating licence.

They all do it not just the BBC. How many people are interviewed by TV or the press because they are experts on a topic and of course nothing to do with them being friends of the reporter or producer which they neglect to mention.

British historian Tom Rowsell has recently released a video of him discussing the claims made by 'Horrible Histories' above.

His rebuttal rests largely on the definition of black "Sub Saharan African" assuming that is a correct definition then the BBC has a case to answer.

However I note that in my lifetime the definition has changed. Once upon a time Obama would have been called mixed race and not black.

On a previous thread I noted how many of the old Hollywood stars who were defined as Bisexual now seem to just be called Lesbian or Gay.

Interesting, how can Gay or Lesbians be Bisexual? If you're Gay/Lesbian that means you are only attracted to the same sex, if you're Bisexual, it means you like both sexes.

In the world of 'Swinging' most, if not all females are Bisexual, a smaller amount of men are the same. Most are happily married or with a partner(of opposite sex), its very, very rare a Gay/Lesbian will partake in 'Swinging'

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

The genetics of the guy the BBC had singing came from that part of the world.

It's about honesty and not lying to children. Everything we need to know about Ofcom can be seen from the fact they let this fly....it's not the first 'woke' and thus inaccurate reading of our past that they have done either.

I think he points out in the video that calling middle eastern people 'black' isn't correct and we know it isn't how they describe themselves.

North Africa is often misused by people to sneak in an agenda, when again they don't refer to themselves as 'black'. As he points out genetically they are closer to Europeans than the guy in the video.

Yup. Of course the celebrities I am referring to are dead and never came out in public so we don't actually know how they would define themselves. In the case of Greta Garbo she had numerous affairs with men and women which is why the writers used to refer to her as Bi.

Maybe it is just lazy research or maybe somebody has an agenda I honestly don't know it's just a trend I have seen.

Oscar Wilde was married but he was gay not Bi because he told us so.

I think so, though he did have two sons.

Interestingly both had distinguished military careers....one of them not making it through WW1, the other living to 80....having his own son, 'Merlin'....whose own son is a computer programmer living in London.
