Let's hope it's an old story driven by Dyche's agent. In De Boer or Pellegrino we trust hopefully. Seconded.

Oh, so he just rocked up at an administration meeting, saw that there were no other punters, and said, "Oh well, I'll have a go then". Zat right? I think you (and you aren't the only one) should have a bit more respect, that's all.

It has nothing to do with respect as the one thing that both bexleydave and I respect is his business acumen as he has turned his low risk investment into a huge capital profit. SJ tried to get Parish involved in a rescue prior to the club going bust but he wouldn't as he saw far greater opportunities in letting the club go bust and picking up the pieces which is what he eventually did. I don't think that there were any other serious bidders but SP & Co let the purchase go right down to the wire in order to get the most favourable deal going. "Respect" I have plenty of it for someone who pulled off a financial masterstroke like SP did and even more so for someone who can pay himself £600,000 plus a year to pick a new manager every couple of years and sort out some player contracts

There is no doubt Parish and the other 3 worked a number on Jordan, but they brought the club back from the ashes to a 5th season in the Premier. If he pays himself £600k, so what it's peanuts compared most of what the majority of the players get.

Have said all along it won't be Dyche he was never even on the radar. We won't go far a manager already employed elsewhere it's not the way 2010 do business.

On 29 December 2014, after the sacking of Neil Warnock, Pardew was given permission to talk to Crystal Palace on the club's managerial vacancy, with compensation agreed.
