Zaha is a fan of social media and all he has to do is to deny some or all of the rumours surrounding him but the fact that he hasn't speaks volumes Load of nonsense.

I think people are really giving Zaha far too much credit to think that there is always a hidden meaning behind his social media posts and that he wears certain things as cryptic clues. I doubt it even crossed his mind at the time about what he was wearing. That’s the point. There are some things you don’t do, a (mate’s) Man Utd shirt being one of them.

This!...plus don't recall him saying he wants to leave Palace only that he'd like to play CL. Time to end this thread..just my opinion of course We all have opinions pal and allowed to voice them on here but we don't all think ours is the final one and ask for the thread to end ! Only the mods can do that.

I believe some people have chatted so much nonsense about Zaha this thread and I don’t agree at all with some of what you’re saying Rudi. Why is it at all stupid for him to wear a Man U kit of his friend and team mates after he had a horrific injury? As for Zaha’s ‘petulance’ he is a highly emotional player, it’s one of the things that makes him so exciting to watch. Andros’ goal against Bournemouth is case and point of what happens when he is fired up and why he plays with his heart on his sleeve. He is fouled more than any other player in the league and isn’t protected by referees. If I were him I’d be as pissed off. As for the other stuff about his behaviour this summer. He has done absolutely nothing wrong so far. He wants to leave, personally I think that’s absolutely fair enough in my opinion and I think he deserves a crack at a top club. Sadly for him a big enough bid didn’t come in. Still he never went in strike, he didn’t hand in a transfer request, and he personally hasn’t spoken to the media at all. Even directly asked during the AFCON he still showed respect for the club and didn’t comment on the rumours. A couple of family members made comments about his desires, desires that are fully justified in my opinion, but that’s about as far as it went. In my opinion the only people showing a lack of respect are the fans here calling our greatest player spoilt and unprofessional based on here-say and made up nonsense along with misrepresentations of what he does on social media. I think he deserves better. Because rival clubs may be considering buying him within the next year, and if you know football, these things come up and football fans use it against the player or rival fans. If he went to a club and had a bad run, some of the fans would bring up photos of him as a boy in a Man Utd shirt and playing football in his back garden in a Man Utd shirt. They wouldn’t care about why. It would also happen from take your pick of fans if he signs for a rival of Man Utd, which will be any of the clubs he dreams of playing for. I’ve said all of this anyway. Why do you think footballers don’t have a club, or don’t talk about it or drop it until after retirement? Jesus. Basic. Rolling around on the floor or gesturing at refs won’t change their mind there and then. It actually makes the same more likely to happen. But what does he do? Does it over and over again. Not all clubs are like Watford so he isn’t getting hacked or maimed. He needs to come to terms with this because it damages his chances of going to a big club. They demand more professionalism. I can’t and won’t keep explaining this. Those family members making comments in the media are actually in his team of representatives. Zaha then responded on instagram with something like, ‘Some people don’t know what they’re talking about’ and I think ‘should keep their noses out.’ If you or anybody doesn’t think that’s unprofessional then there’s not much worth saying. And what was the aim of the media comments? To pressure CPFC and Parish to sell him to Arsenal because ‘he deserves to go and we owe it to him and shouldn’t stand in his way’ after they’ve bid 50% or 40% below his market value. What happens after that? The same muppets pile up some more. Because Zaha stays tight lipped in front of camera because he doesn’t have the media skill to say anything else or want to be recorded slipping up, it doesn’t mean that all the other stuff hasn’t happened. I was actually expecting the sulking to Parish to start once clubs got nearer to bidding £70 million. Nobody went that high and we wonder why. Instead we got the most unprofessional bollox in the press, putting pressure on the club with thousands of tv and social media Arsenal wipes using it to their advantage, and what happens? His same bellend ‘bro’ Klingons are still about to carry on. It all just reaffirms my belief that most footballers I only pay attention to in football kit.

But his brother, who he is very close with did however publicly plead with Palace to sell him to Arsenal because he loves them so much. That message came from Wilf and if you dont think it did then you are very naive. Edited by RyWa (05 Aug 2019 9.34am)

The brother who isn't his brother you mean It’s ‘bro’ or ‘bruv’ now, depending on your background, as long as you didn’t go to private or a grammar school and then you’ll only call your mates by their names or the funniest or slightly embarrassing nickname in front of females. The latter prepares you for more areas of life. The former (bro or bruv dialect) you’ll be difficult to understand in wider society and work, but probably blame everyone else for that and that you’re not earning £50,000 instantly without any skill to speak of or any interest that’s of much worth. Finding a pro bro footballer to be an advisor to is an answer to these frustrations. You can then think you have a new technique and angle nobody else spotted to make that mega summer deal you have your eyes on, without the understanding of the shyte you’re going to create (probably with the knowledge of your client and bro’s desire and his agreement). It’s easy work. Edited by Rudi Hedman (05 Aug 2019 10.34am)
