Going by results, there has only been one season under Parish where you could fault him. That was last year and his extended loyalty to Pardew. Other than that, our results have all been as good -- or better -- than we could have hoped and his recruitment has worked when you take it over a full season. For that reason alone, he deserves our support. Most sensible people know what reasonably expectations for next year look like. Let's judge his dithering/diligence then. Seems as though Pellegrino suits our current style more and Frank DB suits Southampton more and we're relying on Southampton to make the right choice. If the opposite happens it'll definitely be mentioned everywhere if both don't deliver to expectations.
