Hunter Biden's addictions are one thing, the business dealings and " the big man " are something else entirely, the two should not be conflated. One does not excuse the other. In the fullness of time the contents of the famous laptop will be revealed and Hunter will be called before an investigation. No hurry

We certainly need to. This is pure diversionary whataboutery. This is about Paul Joseph Watson and his alleged objectionable recording. Hunter Biden's alleged problems have been thrashed around here many times. As I have frequently said if there is any actual evidence, rather than just assertions, then let due process take care of it. When the Republicans gain the House we can expect investigations. Let's see if any prosecutions follow. You referencing a minor right wing "think tank" making such assertions, without any actual evidence other than repeating other assertions, adds nothing to an already insignificant story. The "Maclver Institute" have a dubious record for accuracy anyway:-

In the fullness of time the contents of the famous laptop will be revealed and Hunter will be called before an investigation. No hurry As the two are probably inextricably intertwined that's not really true. What is true is that there will be an investigation, the purpose of which won't be to investigate Hunter, but to try to damage Joe. Which is all rather silly, but no doubt will keep the right amused. If anything is discovered which justifies prosecutions then sobeit. Those who break the law should face the law. As I am convinced that Biden won't seek a second term anyway it really is a sideshow. Now back to Paul Joseph Watson.

If the Biden's were involved in nefarious business dealings and it becomes clear that was the case after proper investigation then the refusal of the mainstream media to report the issue casts a dark cloud over the 2020 election. At this point there is no definitive evidence published which either confirms or disproves the accusations. The public has a right to know who was " the big man " getting ten percent. It's not about Joe Biden as such, I doubt he will run again and his presidential legacy is already tarnished by Kabul and the border if nothing else. You think if an investigation proves law breaking it's a side show.? Not much for the rule of law are you?

I must admit I got caught up in the mid terms elections and all the team right or team left stuff.....but then I watch clips like this from Jimmy Dore and I'm reminded that actually he's right....it doesn't really matter: the plebs are fecked either which way. Like Hulk Hogan tweeted the other day, 'only the names change brother'.

Edited by HKOwen (12 Nov 2022 10.42am) He knows that unless the Republicans have both houses and have balanced representation within the security institutions that no investigation into Biden will happen. The evidence is as plain as anything. It's even on video, in regards to threatening Ukrainian officials but there's only a way if there is a will to do anything about it. If for some reason it did then he'd be following the lead of all the Democratic media and shouting from the rooftops about witch hunts, Russian influence and false allegations.

Just for a change a story which doesn't suit your argument is dismissed as biased. It's not that simple. It's not so much biased, as an attempt to paint Trump and Biden as equivalents. It's a story which has been spun so often that it really doesn't need to be dusted off every time a diversion away from something embarrassing is needed. I believe a lot it of has been fabricated or, a minimum, deliberately taken out of context but am quite prepared to be proved wrong, but that will only happen in a Court of law. What puzzles me is that if those people who are making the assertions are so convinced that there has been wrong doing, why they haven't already mounted a prosecution? There are ways to engineer that. I suspect that's because what they have is rumour and allegation, rather than real evidence. But I could be wrong. So let's see it! This to me is similar to the "stolen election". Tell a Big Lie often enough and enough people start to believe there must be some truth behind it. It's been a tactic of the MAGA crowd for years and comes directly from Roy Cohn, but it looks as though some have grown wise to it Maybe you cannot see it , but all of this says much more about the Trump part of the GOP than ever it does about Biden. They are getting increasingly desperate. I really don't care that much. Despite the frequent assertions to the contrary I am no special fan of Biden. He is just an uninspiring safe pair who did his job when ousting Trump. I hope, and don't expect, him to run again. He is now too old and the USA needs a more vigorous POTUS who can lead and inspire. Whether from the Dems or the GOP is of less importance than that they respect democracy and are honest. Which eliminates Trump and anyone who doesn't distance themselves from him and all he has claimed. Paul Joseph Watson is a part of the campaign to blacken the name of Biden.

All I can see is the irony of someone who's said that anyone, literally anyone from Charles Manson to Forrest Gump would be preferable to Trump complaining about media bias. How is the bias you show any different?

. It’s a side show to who will be POTUS in 2024! Any investigation is so obviously politically driven that it won’t have a bearing on the result. However if, and in my opinion it’s a big if, Biden senior is found to have been involved in any wrongdoing then let due process take it’s course. Let the law speak.
