Some observations.

I think it is very unlikely to be fake. The article says they spoke to another witness who claimed he had said this kind of thing before. Things that are precisely the kind of things he would say when off camera. If it was fake then he would be quickly in front of a camera making a YouTube video to denounce the attack on him. That he hasn't denied it, so far as I am aware, speaks for it's validity.

Why the MSM haven't picked it up is probably because of their need to obtain solid proof before publication. Their lawyers won't risk being accused of libel.

Threats against "whites and individuals"? What on earth does that mean? You would consider me "white" and I am certainly an individual but the only threats I get are from the far-right.

Of course he made these remarks in private, and you can say whatever you like in private. It's what you do which matters and not what you think. Nevertheless, for someone like Watson, who courts attention, it's very revealing to have his true beliefs laid bare and not those he presents, which have been sanitised for public display.

Anyone who agrees with Watson on most points, doesn't score any with me!

It's pretty easy to find out if it's fake or not.

You take the audio and match it to his real voice....the technology has been around for decades now.

You analyse the clip to see if there are any joins to indicate if clips of individual words have been patched together.

It's not hard in the modern age.....at least at the moment to determine whether something has been faked or not.

Honestly, it gets rather boring having to state the bleeding obvious sometimes.

If it is real, then I would expect Watson to apologise, because as Owen said, it's out of order. Otherwise not giving lies publicity is a perfectly valid response.

There are huge levels of hatred directed at Watson and as we have seen with Jones, the forces ranged against him have few ethical issues on how they get him.

Yep, a whole Democratic media and notably security representatives was prepared to openly lie and present it as 'Russian misinformation'.

They like to memory hole it now but they actually did that.....and then have the gall to finger point on ethics.

These people are dirty and all about the ends justifies the means.

That's how escalation happens, when nobody on both sides says this, but no further.....that didn't happen.

The truth isn't deflection, you have no issues with 'antisemitism' when it's tribal do you? I might agree with you that what happened to Corbyn wasn't....Kosher...so to speak, but when people like yourself use the same tactics on others (as Corbyn did himself) then my sympathies get rather worn.

Also, may I suggest that like your attitude towards free speech perhaps you don't want to recognise how guilt works either.

People are innocent until proven guilty. It's not for Watson to prove anything but for his accusers to.

This is six months old so it looks telling to me that despite the massive funding that the left receives that none of its organizations have been willing to run with this. I regard it as highly unlikely that they wouldn't have checked this out and if it was true then....let's say the same people who closed down West would have closed down Watson.

As for Watson, just how rich do you think he is? He isn't being funded by your Soros and corporates.....It makes me laugh really, the progressives sold their soul.

The Royal family have many millions but don't fight every claim put in newspapers because it ends up giving power to the claims to recognise them.

So, prove your accusations......otherwise you have the dirt on your hands, not him.

Amazing....apparently the massive paid jobs Hunter Biden was getting in Ukraine, with no prior industry experience, and the kickbacks to 'the Big Guy' he referred to...Well, nothing to see here.

No, it's all just about a troubled guy, who just somehow landed on his feet while being a crack addict.....breaks gun laws, nothing happens, breaks drug laws....nothing happens (Biden was very vocal and unsympathetic about locking up crack addicts in the nineties).....the double standards are so obvious that no one serious could ignore them.

Let's also remember that Biden is on video talking about threatening Ukrainian officials with funding cuts unless they stopped persecutions, he didn't like.....Incredibly an accusation they would later throw at Trump as impeachment worthy.

These people are dirty and as corrupt as hell.

Not withstanding:

The lies that the Democratic media and security representatives were willing to tell regarding the Hunter laptop is a far more serious threat to Democracy than anything Trump has ever said.

And it shows just how fake all these people are.....They have no credibility and no integrity.

All they care about is winning and the ends justifies any means.

It certainly ought to be easy. So why hasn't Watson, or one of his "admirers" done that? Watson knows, for sure, whether it's real, or not, so why hasn't he denied it? I would and I am quite sure you would too.

By saying nothing he isn't "not giving lies publicity"! Unless we know they are lies, with his reputation, they will be perceived as the truth. It's entirely in his own interests to speak out if it's untrue.

Jones deserves all he gets and more. To talk about those determined to bring him to justice being unethical is really nonsensical. Jones has no ethics. He is by far the worst example of that scourge of modern life, the conspiracy theorist. What's so disgusting about him is the way he has profited from it, selling snake oil to the gullible. Him being fined as heavily as he has been was good to see. Him declaring bankruptcy (which is a joke) to avoid paying totally predictable.

Watson too puts himself in the firing line, so can hardly complain when he gets fired at. He invites it. Being associated with scum like Jones doesn't help.
