Out for 263 due to Wood's late burst, we will take that. Should have been less. Poor bowling I thought, if you are getting smashed pitch it right up and make them dig it out, don't offer them width. Hope we are intact by the end of the day.

3 wickets given away cheaply to the Aussies. Enjoyed Root and Bairstow repeatedly grounding their bats and asking the Aussies if they were in or out! 197 behind with 7 wickets depends on Root mainly as usual. Let us pray.

The difference was Marsh (obviously) Excluding him the Aussies batsmen (i.e. excluding extras), scored 122 runs. The English excluding Stokes scored 136. I don't know much about cricket, but Headingly is evidently a welcoming place for bowlers. I wonder when the match will finish.
