So stories like the £500k private jet on taxpayer money must really get your back up, right?

Or the £37bn taxpayer money on track and trace?

I thought the VIP RAF Voyager was intended to take Ministers and accompanying trade delegations on official visits?

Dunno about the track and trace ... I never used it anyway but £37bn sounds well over the top?

Police have already asked for missing pages of the report, before it has even been published.
The whole party thing is trivial, compared to the "perverting the course of justice whilst in Public Office" which is now how this is going.

I hope the police investigate the delegation of Covid contracts and find out where all the money was spunked/wasted.

And NI contributions are going up to pay for the last 2 years of incompetence and (potentially) illegal activities.

I disengage, I turn the page.

It certainly looks that way. Any report released now looks set to be watered down so radically that it says next to nothing. The can will likely be kicked down the road for weeks before the met declares 'nothing to see', 'no case to answer' and the already gutted Gray Report will be all we get to see. Cover up. Unless someone leaks it soon of course..

I like to think we're a bit better than them in several regards , but yes what looks like a hand in glove stitch up by politicians and the police is a bit disconcerting. Talk about doubling down!

If the report is not published in full without doctoring, it"s not worth the paper it"s written on, not sure how much more corruption we can take -ah- yes- plenty! The French would be burning down parliament-we just say-"but he"s trying his best"!

That doesn't mean it is needed for every single trip - the ministerial code says that ministers can authorise non-scheduled flights "when a scheduled service is not available, or when it is essential to travel by air but the requirements of official or parliamentary business or security considerations preclude the journey being made by a scheduled service"

Of course you don't know about the track and trace.. that's entirely the point. You've never used it because we spent £37bn on something which didn't work, and then just wrote it off.

Own goal by the unions.

A few years ago various groups and interested parties demanded that when inquiry reports were published some names should be redacted to protect individuals e.g. whistleblowers for example. Mostly these names were Civil Servants being protected by their union. They also demanded access to the report before it was published.

It looks like this may have happened here so the politicians are being inadvertently protected by this process so we are not sure who said what and what has been redacted and why.

If you want transparency into politicians it has to include everyone. Or as the press say publish and be dammed.

Look at the f*ckin government and Prime Minister we have instead, and you're talking about principles and integrity. Genuinely mind-blowing.

You voted for a man who wrote in favour or both leave and remain, and then waited to see who won so he could claim agreement. He lacks integrity on a scale I have never seen in politics before, and that is saying something in itself.

Disagree with Corbyn's politics by all means, but to claim some sort of high ground on integrity given everything that has happened in the last 24 months is like parody.

As usual, you miss the point.

This thing is beginning to get bigger.
Lots of people wanting to restrict things in the report.

I have lost trust in Cressida Dick. I think she's helping Boris out.

No-one is going to come out of this looking good at all.

It's how it works.
If this was labour it would be the same.
