And talking of home town decisions... Anthony Crolla looked embarrassed to get the verdict in his last fight. The spaniard was robbed.

Yep, I switched off after six rounds because I had him down 4-2 and those 2 rounds were being as charitable as possible to him.

When I saw that he'd won I suspected what we all know anyway.

Canelo last night, f*cking hell , I know he’s picking people that are just on the way down, but stopping Kovalev is still decent.
Would like to see him in against Smith , who is in his prime.

If you are the taller fighter to KO Canelo you have to throw as he throws as we saw with Kovalev he clams up.

Canelo appears to have a great chin (many on PEDs tend to).

I don't think Smith has the power and engine that's needed to really take Canelo on.....I see Canelo taking him out to the body.

GGG five years ago would have been interesting but there you go.

If you want to check out a good fight that went under the radar that night check out the US fight between Sosa and Berchelt

Two good fights tomorrow night, and neither are pay-per-view.

Callum Smith v John Ryder plus Deontay Wilder v Luis Ortiz 2 (in the early hours).

Both fights have obvious favourites however both opponents have enough to make them interesting.

Somehow in the hustle and bustle of life, I missed that this one had come around so fast, so thanks for the reminder. It's not a formality by any means, but I'm kind of hoping it doesn't derail Wilder vs Fury 2!

I completely disagree. I would love to see Wilder sparked out.

I'd rather Fury do that, though to be honest he's not known for his punching power. I suppose if Wilder did lose and Joshua wins his rematch, Fury vs Joshua would suddenly be on the cards. Still, I feel like Fury vs Wilder 2 has to happen!

It will be interesting to see whether Daniel Dubois starts factoring in at the highest level in a year or so. A good time for heavyweight boxing.

No chance all the time he’s with Frank Warren. It will be stiff after stiff.

Warren has conned the paying public for years. Hopefully Daniel will eventually see sense and switch camps.

Going to be a point when even Frank can't hold him back.
Imo he is starting to look like he could be special.
