Oh for a Rondon, pace, desire, movement and a footballing brain. Message to Christian, take a look at his performance on MOTD against Everton and replicate.

The game yesterday summed up Benteke's season for me.

Didn't do much, but what little he did do showed glimpses of quality.He missed the only real chance he had. And can claim an assist for Luca's goal.

A woeful lack of confidence together with shall we call it a ' relaxed ' playing style leaves him open to criticism.

With a threadbare squad, we have no option but to make him play through this period and hope things change for him.

No it isn't. Not in that amount of minutes. A good return is what Josh King, Llorente, Andre Gray, Slimani, Andy Carroll, Charlie Austin, Abel Hernandez, Oumar Niasse, Michail Antonio, Ighalo, Crouch, Ulloa, Gabbiadini, Mitrovic, Glenn Murray, Dwight Gayle provided. Not talking about Vardy or Lukaku in Leicester or Everton.

Pretty much all the other strikers for struggling teams.
We're talking about actual minutes played here. If Benteke had played as much the ones above, he'd have had 3 goals last year, not 13.
