Maybe for you Nick, I just enjoyed the music.

Machismo is probably a bigger issue than masculinity - There is nothing wrong with being a man, but I do feel that many of the past 'ideals' to which men are culturally influenced and influence, are problematic.

I never really put to much self identity into my masculinity or femininity - but I've always been a bit of an outsider in society (and alienated by it to some extent).

But I really do dislike Machismo and all that nonsense.

You sound like perfect material to head a secret evil organisation. Do you like cats? Shave your head, sorted.

I do indeed like cats (I have two, instead of children) and periodically shave my head (currently just the sides).

I also have a large swivel chair, which one of my cats likes to sit in my lap.

I'm basically a fortune short of being a Bond villain.

As the Doctor has never been female do you think he/she may be a bit confused by the extra large bits on his/her chest and the lack of bits in their nether regions?

I'd have thought the whole thing would be enough to turn him/her into a gibbering wreck.

I'd spend the whole day in lingerie dancing in the mirror. Don't give two s***s what the daleks are doing, I'd have knockers.

The sonic screwdriver on supercharge vibrate, she'll end up like Barbarella in the Orgasmatron.

I understand, but it's not really about liking it or not liking it. I don't like seeing men kissing at a bus stop but I'm intellectually fine with it.

You may well have been alienated by society but you also seem to have been rewarded by it. You have lucky to live in a society that rewards ability...it's not a given in this world.

I do put self identity into my masculinity, but that doesn't mean I'm out playing darts and drinking pints and appreciating the curve of some girl's leg. Still, if I wanted to why not? Gender expression in a why that reflects your personality is no different to a gay parade....If it's you, be you. No one else has to like it.

I get increasingly p1ssed off within today's popular culture with its doubled standards towards masculinity as opposed to feminism.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here.

You've done well, isn't there a responsibility to have at least one child or adopt one?

A trans caller to Lbc this morning said masculinity and femininity aren't binary but a spectrum, like autism.

I suppose that I'd be right in saying Dannyh is a more manly man than me but I bet he also has a feminine side.

Most things that can be measured...I suppose can be measured plotted by spectrum.

I think there is sense in that....Sexuality interestingly though appears to be more binary for males and less so for females.....though still measurable via a spectrum.

We practically all have a father and a mother so in essence we all have yin and yang, masculinity and femininity. Though when we analyse what it is to be masculine as opposed to feminine or vice versea I suppose we are again back to a spectrum of traits.
