Based on this performance I'm not sure where a win is going to come from. Could we manage to beat Derby's least ever premiership points total?

That was an absolutely appalling performance in a crucial game and an apathetic capitulation after a goal which should have inspired and driven any Palace man who saw it. To see that effort immediately cancelled out by such lazy and pitiful defending is really damning.

We now need from 18 fixtures 24 points which is one and a quarter per game. Can anyone here see it happening? Cos I can't.

Reasonable performances from Wilf 2nd half, Sako and Campbell once they came on. Everone else completely s***e.

Hennessey put in a decent performance again, pity about the back four in front of him though, but I take your point. After watching this crap tonight I can't see where our next point is coming from let alone 24! We actually made Swansea look good! They actually had more possession, more attempts, more shots and unfortunately more goals and we're playing at home! We have a squad with little quality and no talent, good luck Sam!

In fairness, our lads didn't have much time to recover from the Arsenal match. Probably drained mentally as well as physically.

Here's hoping a decent result v Bolton will restore a bit of confidence.

No, we need to let Bolton win, we need a cup run like a hole in the head....Play all kids at Bolton, we can't afford injuries

we've looked unfit all season long. No surprise to see us concede at the back end of each half. Disgraceful to see the team so unfit really. Players should be taking some accountability for that themselves but fitness should be the most basic thing a football manager gets out of his team.

That is no excuse these are Professional highly paid footballers it is their job, the FA cup is not important, we need all our efforts to concentrate on avoiding the drop, if that is possible, the FA Cup last year clouded SP focus he lost the plot on the league form which should have seen Pardew sacked at the end of the season!

On the bright side we conceded 3 less than last time we played Swansea.

This sits firmly at Pardew's door, though questions have to be asked why he was allowed to carry on for so long.

No wonder the players look like they wanted Pardew, the fitness levels are shocking.

Major surgery required, I know which of Pardew and Big Sam I'd hand my money too and expect them to sign a decent player (ignoring comments about skimming)

To all those doubting BFS there is a reason he has never been relegated and a reason Palace never seemed to beat his teams. They tend to be well setup, but Christ knows he has inherited a mess.

Jedi out not replaced
Bolasie out replaced with a lazy, sulking prima Donna
Murray out with replacement
Gayle out without replacement

Granted Benteke has come in, but neither he nor Cabaye have set the world alight.

This isn't Sam's team. Underperforming, on a bad run, unfit, lacking confidence - these are all hallmarks of how Pardew leaves a club.

Will never forget with Pardew the playoff year and him having "the academy" stamped all over the West Ham staff tops. All about the image, whereas Neil Shipperly wasn't overly concerned with image and had reputation as dour, but I know which one i would want in the trenches with me. Same as with Pardew or BFS

With BFS will be no comments or decisions like

Bringing on a striker with 5 mins to go against United when you have just equalised.
No picking a keeper based on distribution rather than ability to stop the ball.
No playing Zaha in the middle and Mcarthur on the right.
No stupid comments about "clean sheets not being overly important"
No Patrick Sanogo.

Apart from Tony Pulis there is no one better for this situation, it's a dog fight, it doesn't suit a Mancini style, it's a war to stay up.

Well said.

Can't see us staying up. We just lost to the worst team in the league.

I fully expect Glen Murray back in August for another promotion push.

I just wish we could stay in the top flight for more than 4 seasons in a row.

Arrrrggghhhh. Never say never but I just can't see it.

Absolutely correct, Pardew and to some extent SP are to blame they were living in a dream world, the bought in rubbish that no else wanted, some with sick notes in their pockets, Benteke, well Klopp was no fool and we paid at least 27 mil for this joker, who are the fools, not Klopp that is for sure!
