Fair point - and it probably showed.

You guys were pretty decent 1st half but we came back into it more.

Certainly wasn't a game for the neutrals.

No, it was Pardew that specialised in those

Absolutely insane; where the fu*k do you think we'll get a player as good as Wilf, who is still improving? There will be players leaving and we have money available.

..it has nothing to do with me! Spurs were interested and made an offer, Zaha was interested but was told no, Zaha is playing much better and only since then he has improved a lot, this improvement in him will not have gone unnoticed and Spurs can offer even more money for him, don't get upset with me, it doesn't take a lot to work out that there is a strong possibility he may go this window..especially as we may need a bit more than twenty mill to arrange our survival with Sam.

If a player wants to go it's very hard to just dismiss them without worrying about the effect that may have on others around them and we aren't in a good place at the moment to have any player problems.

Townsend will do whatever Allardyce wants him to do if he wishes to retain his place in the team.

Let's not forget that this one trick pony of yours provided the pass for Cabaye to score from yesterday

The skill with which he got away from two Watford players before the pass wasn't half bad either

If you are implying that Allardyce should be slated for not waving his magic wand in the one day that he had with the players and transforming them overnight you are living in la la land

I agree with these sentiments.

Cannot perform miracles overnight. At Sunderland he lost 8 of his first 11 games but still kept them up.

That said, he joined Sunderland in October and of course couldn't strengthen the side until the January 'Transfer Window'.

Delaney should have been on the end of two penalties for your team and was very fortunate for us, but having said that after the first one he may have understood that doing this sort of thing is not a very good way to play for the rest of the team, so the other may not have materialised...resulting in a possible goal anyway having been beaten to the ball properly for that other corner ..this means that you deserved very well to get a point and showed very well how good you have been this season, Benteke's missed pen was because of a mistake between two of your players, it really had nothing to do with our own passing and play, good luck for the rest of the season.

..he is good with settling teams down and preparing them, Sunderland did brilliantly at the death so that shows how good he is with bringing players in.

Must have been very frustrated for you.

We never looked like scoring till the penalty really with was a bad one to give away on your part.

On that showing you will soon be away from the bottom 3 and above us with the out of form and injured players we have!

Edited by Superhorns3 (27 Dec 2016 9.14am)

..trying to stop somebody from scoring, if he didn't foul then your player would have been able to scare our goalie and our goalie doesn't like being scared.

You are currently in the beginnings of a mess Mr Pardew often found himself on many many occasions, hopefully Mazzarri will be able to wake your players up in front of goal because they certainly kept us under control that whole second half very nicely.

For me, it's only a question of whether WZ departs in Jan. or the summer (unless he stays but his form tanks in the 2H of the season and no big club fancies him).

Get 30m net to us from his sale plus 20m net spend.

We could have a far more robust squad and strength across the team. And Townsend on the right where he will rediscover how to be a threat again.

That said, if SA keeps playing him on the left, it's hard to see Wilf being the same threat as he has been.

..exactly, I too can see him going, he is going to want to better himself with more income and hugely higher opportunities of exciting Mr Southgate, no player with his skills is going to want to continue playing for us especially with Sam who will want to stop the frilly frills and get his team consistently performing in the way he likes to do it, it will result in us being a little different to watch...but now I'm going into the realms of being a huge fat troll again so I'll stop and behave myself.
