Big Tone of the Pulis just on SSN, speaking about this for the first time - says that he's disappointed Cardiff have gone about it in the press, that he picked the team for that game on the Monday and made NO changes from then. The key to this is that he said he logs everything and has proof to back this up should the FA or Premier League need it.

Sounds good to me so hopefully we can relax a bit now...

I've never been anything but relaxed. Too many panickers on here.

Reading a Cardiff forum even they say it's a farce, the club is a joke and Palace played them off the park. Fans will scream blue murder if they feel they have been wronged.

Vincent Tan is a disgrace, as is the BBC reporter for trying to jazz this up.

Exactly SE

It is not just the people of Cardiff who are embarrassed by Vincent Tan. Malaysians too. Here are some links which reflect the extent of that embarrassment, plus the little insight that the Malaysian Government gave him 15m Ringgits (about 2.75m pounds) to make an utter fool of himself in Cardiff:

plus Tan's dealings in the sports betting industry in Malaysia:

I am sure there are many more.

Just sack Moody. If it is true he is an idiot anyway. Seriously, what did he think he was doing.

all i know about moody is that he landed every single target that Pulis wanted. What warrants him being labeled an idiot

I thought Moody was supposed to identify talent? Pulis had already a list of his targets so what Moody had to do with it was minimal. Maybe this is what happens when You have employees with time on their hands

I cannot describe my feelings towards you Maxi. If I did I would get a red card.

I would like Cardiff to explain how our 3-0 win was unexpected? I mean we had just beaten Chelsea 1-0, where as Cardiff have pretty much lost to everyone this season and played absolutely dreadful on the day (I witnessed it first hand being at the game). Maybe it was unexpected because Tan had fixed the game? I mean they played so badly it could be possible that they were throwing the game and with tan's links to betting? Maybe he had money on a 2-0 defeat that's why 3-0 was unexpected? OK probably bollocks but this whole episode reminds me of the kid in the playground who brings the ball along and then when his team starts losing he grabs the ball, screams it's his ball and doesn't want to play anymore. This is very damaging to Cardiff more than us. All my none supporting Palace friends think Cardiff's bid is bollocks, pathetic and doomed to fail.

Apparently Cardiff are trying to say that the result we got there should not stand due to the supposed leak.
This smacks of desperation on Cardiff's part but I wouldn't put it past the powers that be to screw us over.
This story is on the BBC sport website.

Thoughts?

Not against you personally mate but you're the most recent poster that seems to think the powers that be would want to "screw us over" ! What do you base this on ?

Complete rubbish, Palace make the same contributions towards their partition in the Premier League, they will get same treatment as any other club.

As stated before: SECTION B Rule B15 states: "In all matters and transactions relating to the league each club shall behave towards each other club and the league with the utmost good faith".

SECTION B Rule 17 goes on, "A Club shall not without the Board’s prior written consent either during its membership of the League or at any time after its membership has terminated disclose or divulge either directly or indirectly to any Person whatsoever or otherwise make use of any confidential information as to the business or finances of the League or any other Club or any of their dealings, transactions or affairs or as to any other matters which may come to its knowledge by reason
of its membership save to statutory and regulatory authorities or as may be required by law or to such Officials and Auditors of that Club to whom such disclosure is strictly necessary for the purpose of their duties and then only to the extent so necessary".
That to me is what Cardiff may be using as justification for their complaint, I may be wrong but as I read that as a non Englishman, it could also implicate Cardiff for their failings.

Also there is no mention of this type of issue in APPENDIX 5 & 6 Managers and clubs code of conduct.

So unless the Premier league introduce a new rule, it's a storm in a teacup, as this sort of thing has been going on for years, even when I was playing it was going on, every club tried to get their opponents lineup before they named theirs, and I retired in 1977, it's called trying to outwit your opponent.

Exactly - As I said earlier, there is no actual 'rule' that has been broken, you could argue if we did do this then we went against a very shaky and vague ethical 'guidleine' to which no-one can actually pass a judgement on

It seems as though we are both correct, a lawyer has looked at this for FYP and his spin on this is:
The claims include the suggestion that Palace's sporting director attempted to obtain the team sheet by phoning the Cardiff City performance analyst - who has subsequently been sacked by the club - although he was unsuccessful in his endeavours.

In an even more bizarre twist, Cardiff have claimed that after Moody had discovered the line-up, he mistakenly sent a text message to former Palace boss Dougie Freedman with the information; before Freedman alerted his friend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about the leak. The BBC explained that the document sent to the Premier League notes that Cardiff midfielder Aron Gunnarsson is named as the source of the leak; something which the player and his agent both have denied.

We asked our resident lawyer, Andy Street to give us his view on the situation, and he believes there is nothing for Palace fans to worry about.

Would appreciate it if you could link to the article rather than copying and pasting it in its entirety.

Big Tone and his logs of team practice and team picked on Monday is game, set, and match.

Hopefully we bow out now, leave Tan and the BBC journalist in front of the rest of the press and let them either dig themselves deeper or apologise. Either way we move on.

I'm surprised they haven't reported us for being in breach of the trade descriptions act as according to Alan Hansen we were supposed to be crap and heading for relegation.
