Watson was caught on tape making a string of incredibly anti-Semitic remarks earlier in the year. Not really sure that's the sort of person who's views should be willingly shared.

I take it you voted for Corbyn. I'm not sure that you are really getting the concept of free speech are you. Youtube are hardly a conservative platform yet they obviously don't even agree with your summary here. Besides listening to what progressives think of anti semitism is like listening to a communist talk about freedom. Watson has made a very informative video about the mid terms from the right's perspective. People are at liberty to watch it or not. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Nov 2022 11.39pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Nov 2022 11.39pm) There is a big difference between counselling that something shouldn't willingly be shared and suggesting it cannot be. Of course it can. You have, and I have encouraged others to watch it, now that you have. Not because the content is valid (the assertions are the standard twisted logic of the far-right) but because it confirms what I have been saying about where your ideas originate, and the kind of company you keep, despite your attempts to "white" wash it! No-one should be considered guilty by association, but when the ideas match, or are enthusiastically approved of, then they are guilty of being an accessory. So is it wise to associate yourself with someone with such a heavily tainted reputation? Up to you!

Your fickle whataboutery in this instance is particularly disappointing given the extremity of remarks expressed.

As making cheap and nasty assertions seems to amuse you, I'll refrain from responding in kind. I don't want to amuse you Your comment is ridiculous. Even a professional psychiatrist, which I assume you aren't, wouldn't offer a diagnosis without a face to face consultation. Add to that as it apparently isn't actually a clinical category itself, but is thought to contribute to others that are, someone attempting an amateur diagnosis based on a few comments in a forum, makes them, and not the target for their insults, look really stupid. I had never heard the expression before, and bet you hadn't either, before you searched for something you could insult me with, based upon your own prejudicial opinion of my character. So I looked it up, and laughed out loud. You see, I know me. You don't. Nothing it describes fits me. But, of course, you know better, don't you? I know from here that you will not admit when you are wrong or in error. It's not an insult unless the cap fits etc. I know you post more " details" on here about your self, supposedly, than any other poster I can think of. These " details " are usually putting yourself in what you think is a good and superior light . for example Changing the lives of ex prisoners for the better Not increasing your tenant's rents ( god bless ya gov ) Having rich and successful friends Having the bowls club be so grateful for your contributions and so on.
You may not want to amuse me but, oh you do. Enjoy the weekend Edited by HKOwen (11 Nov 2022 11.13am)
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

For instance, I recently appealed a parking charge notice but thought there was no chance of being successful. 30 mins ago, I found out I was wrong. Another is that when I first started posting here I thought everyone would behave with respect and dignity, as we all support the same team. I was wrong. As you frequently prove. When I give examples from my own life to support a point I only do so because I can be certain of the facts. Using hypothetical examples doesn't have the same authenticity. It takes a warped mind to read other motivations into an innocent act. Why you insult so readily is something only you and your analyst will understand. The "reason" lies within you and not me, or anyone else you decide to vent your personality upon. I am happy you find amusement in whatever you do. I am though glad I have a more mature sense of humour. I abandoned such humour when I left primary school.

No, I won't watch the video, as I'm pretty sure you didn't watch Watson's video and are of the position that no one should be allowed to. However, I did read the article. What I will say is, if the recording is genuine, and this kind of thing can be faked, then I don't agree with the sentiments. Also, if this was genuine it's been covertly obtained and comes under the guise of private commentary. However, it really would need evidence that it hasn't been faked. I agree with Watson on most topics, however I don't believe in violent actions against groups. Ask him if he does. My attitude here is, while I don't agree with it, people talk nonsense all the time. I imagine there's a lot of things said in private that none of us would stand by at a later date. However, you are a person who agreed with throwing statues in rivers and you believe in restrictions on people's speech. Yet, I don't agree with the idea that your speech is restricted so unless Watson's out there officially making threats against people I don't agree with action against him either. If Watson had made these comments publicly....if indeed he made them at all, then I would agree with them being censored. However, he didn't. Let me remind you that progressives and others make threats against whites and individuals on official social media all the time on left wing media all the time and no action is taken.....they aren't being recorded privately. If this is true then it's for lawyers. However, I haven't seen anything emerge, which is probably telling. I am not someone who believes that because Michael Jackson was accused of disgusting degeneracy that it means his records shouldn't be played or he should be erased from public memory. This was six months ago, yet nothing. Why did no major news outlets pick this up? Why has nothing been done if it's genuine? Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Nov 2022 1.28pm)

No, you voted for Corbyn, which shows that this is pure political tribalism and that you don't actually care that much if someone is connected to 'antisemitism' or not. Sounds to me like an impersonation but that's only my opinion. I doubt someone with his high profile would risk everything with such a rant. The article is dated May 2022 and if it was genuine you would think Who knows, these days anything is possible. I suspect Byline Times may have been conned if it is fake, I don't think they would run something they had doubts about Edited by HKOwen (11 Nov 2022 1.22pm)

I got that wrong!!! I expected another long diatribe of fatuousness. Got a short one instead.
