This thread reminds me of WW1. Both sides entrenched in their positions, and not willing to budge one bit. Hand grenades, insults and mis-information being lobbed across no-mans land. How will these conflicting ideologies ever be reconciled ? Will a Treaty have to be signed. or will one side walk away ? or will it be a family-room booking at the Purley Way Travel Lodge and a large tub of Boy Butter ? There'll be no winners in this thread. Just Losers. Have you ever thought about something more productive to do, rather than banging your collective heads against a brick wall for several hours a day ? Personally, I've been prepping for the Winter Fuel crisis. Chopping down trees to stockpile firewood, thereby contributing immensely to Global Warming. At least I'll die warm, though I concede it could still be the raging heat of a thermo-nuclear explosion that gets me. And on a political slant, the reason sides are so entrenched, is what continues the 2-party see-saw system of politics in the UK. And what perpetuates the political system is "divide and conquer".
