Yes and yes.
Don't we have enough problems of our own without worrying about a foreign country whose elections we can't affect in any way?

When some of those problems are caused by our own politicians imitating the tactics in the USA, then watching and learning seems to be pretty important to me.

Well I just posted on here but it was deleted, it probably should have been moved to the midterms thread, which I had missed.

I can’t be bothered to retype it.

Mods should do a little better on this site.

It’s been fun, but I’m off, I think there may be better places to periodically see first hand what is going on in the mind of a deranged right wing trump fan. Cheerio.

Had Mainey down as many things but not a flouncer!

Quite frankly I couldn't give a flying feck what you think about how others raise their kids. It matters about as much as my opinion on how you raised yours.

It takes no bravery to type that from behind a keyboard. If you have these issues try telling these fathers direct to their faces.

That you don't care is par for your course. Others though do care about how our kids are raised. As an ex teacher you must have encountered many over-bearing parents who put pressure on their children with unreasonable expectations, and demanded things from their teachers that they cannot deliver. I wonder if you ever stop to reflect if that might now be you?

I have absolutely no problem in expressing my opinion on this, or any other matter, directly, and have done so. I am always diplomatic and emphasise the positive outcomes, so don't cause offence. If anyone did get angry or violent I would just walk away. It's not happened yet. Probably because I avoid expressing my views to those with obviously closed minds.

So Desantis goes from a tiny % winning majority to 20%. Whilst the rest of the country appears to not share in this popularity for Republicans?

If ever you wanted a set of mid-term results that probably keeps Trump from running again, this was them.

Odd that.

I don't believe you.

You receive negative responses from most of those you lecture on here. Due to your often expressed fear of physical confrontation, I highly doubt you would speak to those you disagree with in the same manner in which you write.

I regard you as fundamentally dishonest....which is probably par for the course for an ex marketing manager.

Your previous point (dross) was whatever is happening in the US, doesn't affect us. Well it does, rather obviously, for several equally obvious reasons.

Anything posted on here falls into the category of 'why bother'. Not what was being discussed and not really that relevant TBH as it is also extremely obvious. It did amuse me though.

So, Stirling, you believe that a previous vocation of Wisbech is a Marketing Manager ?

I can read most of the opinions on HOL, as they are mostly caveated as ' my opinion', or 'in my experience'.
The HOL posters who state information as fact, or even FACT and become even more entrenched in their mindset are often ones that you would find yourself with much more social time, by ignoring.

But if you want to keep flirting with each other, that's no-ones business but your own

I disengage, I turn the page.

Sure, I tend to go through periods of ignoring him and then have little bursts when I can be bothered to pull apart his nonsense. There are better posters than me who more regularly pick out the holes in his positions but, in my view, he's deliberate pushes buttons for these interactions as its part of his modus operandi.....As for why he seeks out demographics with polar opposite views to him one can only wonder.

I had him down as more of a fluffer.

Na, I quite liked his combative style when he was posting regularly. Hopefully he comes back to get some more TDS and general right wing hatred off his chest.
