You left yourself open for criticism by claiming that scores of victims of the multiple pakistani rape gangs were somehow asking for it. Particularly, noteworthy in the light of your love of the letter of the law.

That said, I not going to evoke ME's wrath further by going off topic, so just remember that we now have no doubt that you are a massive hypocrite and clearly blinded by ideological claptrap.

Funny as an atheist he told me he has no interest in religion, that's why he wasn't sure about Friday prayers.

Now it seems he follows the word of the Bible.

The trouble with compulsive liars I guess - well - it's a fact that they eventually slip up, and then deny all allegations even if they are written in black and White for all to see

To stay on topic, I believe that's what Trump has been accused of...

Attacks on views are to be expected. Personal attacks ought not to be. I refuse to believe you cannot see the difference.

The distinction between the two can be subjective.

The rules on poster behaviour are there to enable mods to make decisions without restrictions. The fact that you seem to regard them literally displays a lack of understanding.

To an extent I respect debate that mainly focuses upon views instead of opinions on individuals. However, your contention that people be restricted to not commenting on the source of the opinion is unrealistic.

The extent and context does matter and the site is moderated to limit feuding.

So far as I am aware it is not for either of us to determine what is a "fair" request. As I always try to address the argument in a post and not the poster I do not see any justifiable reason to request me to stop responding just because you don't like what I say.

I communicate on this forum with plenty of people I disagree with. I have directly told you why I don't wish you to post to me.

Your responses are disingenerous and your argumentation myopic. You have little humour and a tedious tendency towards overlong replies.

Communicating with you is largely pointless and I only reply to you because you wouldn't stop posting at me.

That many on here disagree with me is totally unsurprising given the overwhelming similarity of the majority of political world views to be found here. Knowing those world views I am proud to hold an alternative, which in the world outside this forum would probably be in the majority.

Probably more evidence of your self delusion right there.

I am not a CINO! I am an atheist. You jump to conclusions just as some did on the Catholic sites. I am a Conservative. Just not your kind of Conservative.

As I stated, I'm sensing a pattern. An atheist deliberately choosing Catholic websites to engage people.

I suspect you know the reaction you create and are deliberate in your intent.

To an extent I have no issues with that, however when an individual asks you to stop posting directly to them your should stop. To deliberately ignore their wishes is a soft form of harassment and indeed forms a major reason why 'blocking' exists.

I hope this forum does not permit blocking other than via a moderator. I think the current system of cards to be much better than passing the job to members. What happens in forums which allow blocking is that only those who think the same way end up contributing, resulting in endless confirmation bias and a steady reduction in the quality. It's a sign of cowardice and a way to the eventual death of the forum.

Ideological bubbles are a concern that's for sure. However, anyone pushing the idea that everyone blocks those that they disagree with is just incorrect.

I state once again, I converse with many people I don't agree with on Hol. If anything a 'block' facility would keep things honest.

Twitter and many other forums have blocking, including other Palace sites and none of them are dying.

To be honest, I can sniff out these kinds of people very easily. Narcissistic closed minded, hypocrites.

Trump has been the victim of accusations from the beginning. This is the new tribal gutter politics that we now have to endure, particularly from the desperate Left.

So again we have a post that by indirectly accusing me of lying attempts a personal insult. So I have no choice other than to correct it, so that the truth be known.

As an atheist I have no interest in belonging to any religion. I took an interest in some aspects of the Catholic Church because my wife belongs and believes and I needed to inform myself. I wanted to verify my own disbelief. I attended social events with her and got to know some Priests, one of whom I worked with on a social scheme here.

I was brought up as a Protestant, attended a high church, was a choirboy and server. The knowledge of the Bible comes from then. That I don't now believe doesn't mean that there isn't wisdom to be found there. I try to live by the golden rule.

I have had no need to study Islam or any childhood history to guide me, hence my relative ignorance.

So there is the "black and white"!

I won't continue and answer every point in detail. I think it's pretty obvious that we disagree fundamentally on almost everything.

I would though refer you to my previous post which explains why I became interested in Catholicism. It isn't what you suggest at all.

Where on earth do you get that idea. From the especially twisted mind of another poster perhaps? Someone who tried to smear me?

The remark was simple and straightforward. I said that not all kids are little angels and nor are all parents caring and loving. It was a general remark and not directed specifically at rape gang victims.

This was in the context of the difficulties faced by those whose job it is to investigate and bring the criminals to justice. It was not any kind of defence of the criminals. It was a defence of those trying to do their jobs.

Thanks. I needed that laugh this morning!

If you are so good at "sniffing out" narcissistic hypocrites how come you have missed the most obvious one in plain sight every day?

Not just miss that but continue to defend him and suggest he has been "victim"! What nonsense. Trump more than deserves all he gets and has ever since he first became well known as the bully on TV. It isn't just the "left" who despise him and everything he represents. It's every fair minded and objective thinker with an interest in the future of our planet.

The reason why I, and I suspect others, did not respond is because I had not heard of the accusation.

So I researched it and guess what? It's almost exclusively the right wing press and, of course, RT, who are claiming this.

Guess another thing? Google deny it and say they are simply taking steps to ensure that the manipulation that occurred in 2016 cannot happen again. They want to ensure that reliable news sources get proper weighting in their search results and dubious ones get downgraded. Seeking the truth seems pretty responsible to me.

That's interesting! People complain that no-one responded to the original post and drew inferences. So I did a little research and responded.

As there has been no response to that response what conclusions should be drawn?

I have continued to do my research and actually the reason it has not been given wide spread publicity is that it originates from a very suspect source. No self respecting journalist would want to use such a source. It comes from "Project Veritas" which is run by the conservative activist James O'Keefe. To say he has a dubious relationship with the truth would be an understatement. He has his answers and then seeks "facts" to support them. If those facts don't exist he creates them, via stings and edited videos.

This isn't investigative journalism at all. This is propaganda designed to be fed to the Trump base and keep them believing.

Even the most convinced right winger ought to be wary of this as a reliable source. Read more here:-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_O%27Keefe

What about “those trying to do their jobs” who are also parents? By this logic do some of those stop being caring and loving when they clock off?
Your defence of the media, particularly, is bizarre and ignores the fact that they are almost all ideologically biased in their reporting (or lack of same which was the original point).
It’s very simple. If the story omits the names of those involved, ie a man from London, then bias is evident.

I can see no connection at all between the point I felt necessary to explain again and your response.

Who-ever investigates would encounter a mix of types both of children and their parents, not all of whom are as loving and caring as I am sure everyone here is.

I have not "defended the media"! All I have done is offer alternative suggestions to explain why they might have decided to restrain their coverage, either voluntarily or at the request of those investigating. I have no more idea than anyone else whether such suggestions are true. Nor have I offered any opinion on whether I approve or not, simply because I don't know enough to form an opinion.

Can someone explain if the text below, is the same as a correction l got from someone who claims he's not a compulsive liar!

Now the correction :

As an atheist I have no interest in belonging to any religion. I took an interest in some aspects of the Catholic Church because my wife belongs and believes and I needed to inform myself. I wanted to verify my own disbelief. I attended social events with her and got to know some Priests, one of whom I worked with on a social scheme here.

All there bin black n white
