I don't know why we even have these discussions. The whole subject of so called race is highly politically motivated. "So called race". What does that even mean? How is it politically motivated? Are you suggesting that some parties are inherently racist or something? Which parties have polices guided by "so called race". There is no excuse for discrimination of any kind. The fact that it happens elsewhere is one of the reasons why we in the UK should be setting an example and eradicating discrimination in all its forms. You can't just blame migration and wash your hands of it. Everyone has a responsibility to minimise their prejudices and interact with others in a way that isn't biased by the colour of ones skin, gender or whatever. Politics has nothing to do with it.

Childish drivel. Multi culture causes friction full stop. And large scale immigration causes a lot of it. A whole lot of the problem we face today are a result of mass immigration. It might have propped up our stagnating population and rescued a few pensions but the price had been too expensive.
It's a minority of multi-culture that causes friction. When the pieces don't fit together at all with absolutely no common ground. But as it stands, the vast majority do. There was a big hoo-hah when Afro-Caribbeans arrived but what do you know? We Brits and them found we did have things in common that they enjoyed and could be enjoyed together. Music, food, religion, dope, etc.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

Really? That again Britain is extremely low on the 'racism' league which is amazing considering the long list of problems that multi culture has brought with it. Right now that multi culture is responsible for killing our kids. I don't think we need a lecture about our responsibilities in that department thanks.

"Racist" has been reduced to a cheap playground insult, used by people who've lost an argument or are oblivious to the real world. Frequently both.

And you want to argue the point?

Multiculturalism is not the problem, unless you're a racist like those who perpetrated the recent terrorist outrages. Multiculturalism is the solution which is why it is so hated by racists. Multiculturalism was the target at London Bridge. Surely that's self evident.
