Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

There has always been racism in all areas of society and there probably always will be. It is one of the reasons that mass immigration and multi-culturalism is so problematic. Certainly the police should be impartial, but the blanket 'institutionally racist' claims were I think greatly exaggerated and used by the left as another stick to beat the police and authorities, leading to some near lawless areas in many of our cities.

Today a Labour councillor posted a MEME of May claiming she had said things regarding Lesbians. When challenged as to the origin of the quote she started to say well the Tories were vile [Tweet Link]

There have been several cases of May doing so.

Could that be because advisers to the Tories, believed that Cyber security needed more funds. Funding hasn't been cut and re-routed to May's back pockets, it had to be routed elsewhere; like the additional £1.9bn in cyber security spending announced in 2016. Or the £250m made available to Cyber Security start ups in 2015. Police numbers shouldn't be decreased, that I agree with. But I don't agree with 20,000 more police officers could of stopped someone acting alone and deciding to mow people down in the case of Westminster. It was rerouted to cuts in tax. The cuts have been ideological not an economic necessity. If that was the story it's not cutting through. More police would allow officers more time and resource to concentrate on responding to concerns from communities and monitoring people on their watch lists and ensuring their watch lists are as complete and appropriate as possible.

The words of the Independent McPherson Report. Sir William McPherson was a retired Judge, who served in the army (Captain), and was also a territorial member of the special air service (final rank Lt Colonel). He was knighted under Thatcher's government and had a reputation as one of the judiciaries top judges. Were his claims exaggerated. Incidently, he arguged that institutional racism was probably present in the NHS, The civil service, the judiciary and local government services (i.e. it wasn't unique to the police).

Sure there was, and no doubt still is, in those institutions and others. As I have said it is a feature of the problems caused by immigration and multi-culturalism.

I don't know why we even have these discussions. The whole subject of so called race is highly politically motivated.

And large scale immigration causes a lot of it. A whole lot of the problem we face today are a result of mass immigration. It might have propped up our stagnating population and rescued a few pensions but the price had been too expensive.
