Todays first download is a set by Blur that was recorded at the RDS Showground, Dublin, Ireland in 1996. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding bootleg. The band play quite a long set which includes top versions of tracks like "Girls And Boys" "Song 2" and "Parklife" - they even start to play "My Sharona" - but it's only a tease and they break after 30 seconds and go into "To The End". This is one of the best Blur boots available and it's thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by the Pixies that was recorded in Den Haag, Holland in 1988. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by the band. I've only posted a handful of albums by this band in the past - which includes one or two bootlegs. There live stuff seems to be hard to find in good quality - and I won't post crap audience recordings. This is a non stop rock show from start to finish - a very fast and good set - a cracking boot for any fans of this band... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Saxon that was recorded in Naples, Italy in 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted although I have posted an officially released live album - as well as a couple of studio albums including a "Best Of". Non stop metal as you would expect from Saxon.... PLAY LOUD... Todays first download is a set by Guns N Roses that was recorded at the recent "Rock In Rio" festival in Brazil. This set is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a tv broadcast of the show. The RIR festival is a week long event in Rio - I've previously posted a couple of sets from this years event. This was the final day - and GNR headlined the day. It seems strange to have GNR without Slash on guitar, but his replacement Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal does his best and isn't bad at all.
