This is dragging on way too long. Need to get this sorted within the next week as players will be reporting back for pre-season fitness tests soon.

Well SP is not silly and he is hardly going to give out 100k/per week contracts for five years without a get out clause, it would be impossible for the clubs in the Championship to pay such wages and likewise Wilf is not going to want to play championship football with the quality he has so he will also have a get out clause. As for FdB like most managers of quality he will want transfer pots, McInnes walked from Sunderland because he had no promise of t/f funds, we will never know for sure but suspect TP walked for the same reason and likewise big Sam, do you have any better information?

Big Sam retired. Nothing more nothing less. Sure he didn't retire his whole career because he was so disgruntled about a lack of funds at Palace. Also, it wasn't a lack of funds that caused the riff between TP and SP. It was the lack of funds for over the hill players.

So Parish has told you the transfer budget for the summer, otherwise how would you know? Why you bring Pulis and Sam into your post, I cant quite work out. Pulis is a control freak and Sam retired.

That's probably the official line according to Sam's compromise agreement that allowed Sam to walk from his contract no one will know for sure because compromise agreements are confidential, it will also bar Sam for working for anyone else for a set period of time, otherwise he may well have to pay Palace compensation for the contract he signed and did not honour!

Why have you any reason to doubt events, apart from some conspiracy theory of yours.

The longest managerial search was the month before appointing pulis. Millen was in charge for a month.
