I had a Jehovah's Witness advent calender once.

Every time you opened a door it said **** off behind it.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Had the Lib Dems knock 3 weeks ago. I live in Carshalton, and Tom Brake has been awful for the last 2 years with his Rubbish bins, voting against article 50 (In a Brexit dominated constituency), as well as other local issues.

They knocked, with my rubbish bags everywhere outside (My bins were full, and foxes got to all our neighbours rubbish) and asked if I would re-elect Tom Brake. He has no chance I am afraid.

He's my MP as well. Dreadful man. There's a concerted campaign on social meeja to get him out but the Tory contender is a Class A cockwomble too.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I was impressed with the amount of police at the scene on friday, but know a guy was getting stabbed two miles away in vauxhall and just a couple of police visible on the street there might have prevented that stabbing, its important to have a visible presence out on the streets which we have lost in the last 5 years, i even commented to a collegue one night in clapham that i can see two coppers walking in the distance, how strange is that? i said,,,,only to find out their hats started flashing blue and they were on a stag do!

I am Carshalton too, he is a bit left for me but I will be voting for him again. I am not sure he will get re-elected though.

To be fair the bins are the council, it's the incinerator he seems to be copping it for

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Can't be arrested for impersonating a police officer if there aren't any around.

Answer the door naked, only to find out it's a local charity.

Viridor? Did hear about that, I also heard he employed two people related to Viridor's CEO in his Campaign team.

If May wins (Which I think she will), I hope she sees the middle ground and increases the funding for Emergency Services, NHS and Education (Especially after what has happened in the last three months). Hopefully she will use this election campaign as a way to be more central rather than too right.

And rightly so.

His majority is overturnable, though, and I suspect that the incinerator and his Article 50 stance may well put his lights out.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Not sure what this is suppose to show me, as everyone knows there has been cuts. What I am asking, if the policing budget was reduced to move some of the funding to intelligence/cyber agencies instead?
