Todays first download is a set by Australian rockers AC/DC that was recorded in Germany in 2009 while the band were on their "Black Ice" tour. This is in superb quality and is a wicked soundboard recording. The band plays a great set with some classic tracks like "Back In Black" "Hells Bells" and "Highway To Hell". This is thoroughly recommended and must be played LOUD!. Todays second download is a bootleg of early mixes and studio outtakes by Toto that were recorded for the bands first album. This bootleg is in superb quality and sounds great. Some classic tracks on this one including the early version of their classic "Hold The Line". The back cover artwork is wrong as it lists the final track as another version of "Hold The Line" - it's actually another version of "Georgy Porgy". If you like Toto you will want this one... Todays extra download is an acoustic set by Starsailor that was recorded at the KCRW-FM studios in Santa Monica, CA on the 1st of June 2006. This is the first bootleg by Starsailor that I've posted and was also a request. This is a top sounding bootleg thats been taken from the FM broadcast of the show. I will be posting some more live Starsailor in the next week or so - a live gig or two, not acoustic. If you like Starsailor this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by The Moody Blues that was recorded by the BBC in 1986 and was broadcast in 1987. The quality of this boot is superb and it's got a great tracklisting. The actual venue and date aren't listed in the files but thats not really important - it's the music that counts... and that is top notch. This is great stuff and if you like The Moodies - then you will want this one. It finishes with the classic "Nights In White Satin" but it also has top versions of classics like "I'm Just A Singer" and "Question". Thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Wilco that was recorded about a week ago at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding bootleg which also features Nick Lowe. The audio for this boot has been taken from a webcast recording of the show. I recently posted the bands latest album and this show features most of the songs from it. If you like Wilco, this is thoroughly recommended... this is great stuff. Todays extra download is a bootleg of live soundboard tracks by The Move. This boot is in superb quality for it's age - most of the tracks were recorded in the 1960's when The Move were most active. They were fronted by Roy Wood - he was guitarist and writer, and he wrote all their hit singles - they scored 9 top 20 singles in 5 years. They never made it in the USA though and the band split in 1972. They reformed in 2004 and are still going. Some classics from their hit singles are on this one "Hello Susie" and "Blackberry Way" are both played... BW was one of the first singles I ever bought - from the little record shop that used to be on the High St in South Norwood opposite the post office - it seems like yesterday!.... As my main pc is in the workshop for repair, I'm having to use the laptop to post - I don't really like laptops. I do not have access to the bootlegs I had intended to post today.
