Not sure yet what bets I will make for tonight, if any. As for fantasy football, I have attackers and defenders on both sides, so it will probably end up 5-4 with none of mine scoring! BlueSq are offering 9/1 against a Boro win, which is too generous to pass up. Only £1 stake though. And Southgate has been left on the fantasy bench. :G - Boro beat United twice last season. Is this the definition of "value"? Since posting this, the odds have come in from 10s to 7s... but it's still value if you ask me. Remember McClaren knows United very well. And now I have a few quid to spare... Edited by halfmanhalfslug (03 Sep 2002 5:24pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug I was this close to sticking a couple of quid on 1-0 Van Nisto at 16s yesterday... and talked myself out of it. Today's nap is Simber Hill (Newton Abbot 3.05) and A P McCoy should get two or three winners at least today (as he goes for the fastest 100 winners).

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug Mate, I've not check this for a while, the last time your profits were about £15. I'm going to start following it more closely. If I had placed all the same bets but instead of each pound I put on a grand, I'd be rich!
I think Keith Murray said it best when he rapped I'm sure you'll agree. |

If I had placed all the same bets but instead of each pound I put on a grand, I'd be rich! Indeed! Same here, but instead of backing my nap each day I usually end up backing it in a double with something that loses, and so even I am not doing as well as this thread!

Not much on today, the pick of a bad bunch is Curfew (Salisbury 3.10). Cruised home at 7/4, bringing winnings over the £40 mark, up to £40.34.
