Much better to downplay any injury, be magnanimous and show both compassion and resolution. That’s what statesman do. He didn’t need to do anything to get sympathy. It was already there in spades, even from those who detest him. Until the actual injury gets revealed this looks like a huge mistake to me that can easily rebound on him. We’ll see.

However, though it was blurry I don't think the figure caught in video prior to the attack presented as female....nor did reports mention it, though that doesn't mean the photo isn't real. So I'm in two minds about it....the trans stuff would explain why the establishment has gone silent so far (it hid a lot on the trans school shooter). However, it could be some 4chan type stuff there to fool us. Though there could be other reasons the state have gone quiet on this killer.
