I don't think comparisons with China add anything to this debate. Their one-child policy to reduce their numbers, which produced a disproportionate number of men resulted in predictions of many Chinese men having to look for wives in other Asian countries.

I have no idea if those predictions are being proven true as I am no longer spending time in Asia. What I do know is it is a very different place.

At least this thread is about immigration so you have not dragged it in, as you do with everything else.
