The tory slapstick farce continues. At this rate in a few weeks it will be us actually collecting tax from the government. No tax cuts before inflation - Sunak. Oh alright then 4% - Sunak The biggest tax cut ever 30% - Sunak. As chancellor of course he made the largest tax hike since WW2. How did that benefit the country, exactly. What a spectacle this is.

You have a point. For me what we are seeing now, with zero pretence now made about it, is the absolute naked blind ambition, where nothing else matters other than just achieving a specific goal. Not even the slightest attempt to cover it up or pretend any of them have the genuine good of the country at heart. And this is not about the actual tax cuts themselves, the wisdom or lack of, but just how principles and policies are shaped by nothing else other than what is good for them. We have no credible political leadership available across the board. It really is time for a 'reset'.

I am loving the sheer anguish of the gammon loving Tory being forced to choose between a woman and a BAME man. For me it's like a choice between either death by gunshot to the head or death by a terminal disease

You can slate the Tory party for all kinds but it is by far the most progressive political institution in this country in terms of its senior politicians.

Liz Truss's comments Wee Krankie are out of order. i think that, despite most people being somewhat aware in any case, we are currently witnessing evident situations of just how incapable the vast vast majority of politicians are, across the entire spectrum, but also just how much effort they put into politics and it’s ridiculous facade as opposed to governing and finding solutions for the nation and its people. An absolute joke.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The fact that the vast number of those they shout racist at would have had the Nigerian British as PM matters little to them. All they care about is whether the 'racist' term wins for them or not. The reality that Europeans are less racist than the communities they defend isn't important.....all that matters is that their tribe wins. The truth of something is secondary.
