Looked like he was finally going to make it but hit by injury again and out for the season. I do feel sorry for the lad, but he's still young enough to carve out a different path in life. A real shame as he looked the real deal. Surely he'll be let go by us in the summer!?

100% he has to be let go. Still surprised we offered him a second contract. 565 minutes of football in 3 years, 8 of them for the first team. Real shame for him. Wish him the best.

Another injury, wow. No other option but to cut ties. It was a gamble that didnt pay off, but know when to fold.

Stupid comments from people that have never played the game...injures happen.. I hope he does come back into the picture.. he does have ability and can play right across the back four which is more than useful.. he needs a good pre season then who knows.. still young enough.... Make your mind up

A right back named Nathaniel Clyne spent the best part of 3 years on the injury table before Liverpool let him go. I wonder where he is now?

He also made 77 appearances for Liverpool and scored one goal , at least he contributed to the team. If Ferguson had those kind of stats and we have actually seen him play a full game in the first team then he might be worthy of a contract extension. Captain Obvious, i wonder where he is now .

A few years ago, Slaven Bilic said of Ferguson, that he reminds him of Declan Rice (Whom he used to manage at W.Ham), in that he is only 18 but his mind is that of a 25-27 year old, so he is not some stripling mentally. I do have a great deal of sympathy for Ferguson who has had to display fortitude in adversity. It must be soul-destroying for the poor chap. Edited by Willo (20 Apr 2024 12.44pm)

It is to the credit of the club that we have stood by him but he has been out for too long. Depressing as fully fit he could have been an international and we would now be fretting whether we could keep him. Development arrested and now likely to be released. Presumably he has saved some of the money he made pre Palace and the 5 million he been paid by Palace
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

He's not even listed on the EPL Injury Table website. They're sick of him! I mean, FFS, he's a young man isn't he? And black! I think his illness has degraded into a pyschosis where his body is programmed to crash every rehab cycle. I could have something there.
