Forbes currently values the club at £624m. Both figures seem high to me, but what do i know ?!

Recently the extra 5% he 'bought' for injecting an extra £20m so that would value Palace as a whole at c£400m. Therefore this would indicate Palace as a whole is worth between £400m and £500m and so his 45% is worth at least £200m. This does create and issue for Palace. Blitzer and Harris don't seem to want to put more into the club, hence the reason Textor was brought in, and Parish is not that wealthy.

Can't see him getting buyers at that price, but what do I know? (not a lot - before anyone else says it). As for Blitzer and Harris, who else in the PL is there for them to buy? They're not rushing to buy Everton (just yet). Given the increased value of our squad, the impact of Glasner and the possibilities for the future, may be they will decide to buy some of Textor's shares so that, along with Parish, they'll control over 50%. That would bring a measure of stability as they seem to trust Parish to run the club on their behalf.

Lanzo, no one in their right mind would buy a minority stake in a private company based on open valuation with only 25% control (e.g. none). How long is a piece of string? I think you will find he has a loan to Palace of c.£30m, so he is only in there for say £60m. If you are seriously interested, I would try say 20m plus take over the loan as well, but your investment at that point goes out of your control as Textor no doubt realises. I feel that the developments with textor are very unfortunate and could be extremely detrimental to the club stregthening this summer. Textor will not only want to sell his shares but also get repayment on loans he has made which funded our purchases a few years ago - This could be as much as £80 million in broad terms that is the sale of 2 of the crown jewels with no replacement. Like others I am not 100% in favour of multi club ownership but i suspect other owners knew about this when Textor bought in and were generally in favour. However the big change was when he bought Lyon and now Palace where no longer guaranteed to be the top of the pyramid. In theory the idea of loaning players within the group to get experience and senior match play has to be a good idea. The idea of feeder clubs on an informal and semi formal basis has gone on for years. But the club that benefits most from this is at the top of the pyramid. O'Brien the rumours i heard last year was he wanted First Team football and refused to go out on loan again. other Clubs in England had offered £1 million for him which for aplayer with his experience at the time was not unreasonable. Lyon bought him for around this sum and we assume Palace have a sell on clause. The question is what happens now? Can any of the other owners buy him out? Some have suggested Parish but he doesn't have money. The 2 americans do but they will then become majority owners - have been reluctant to invest in past so why would that change? And Parish would no longer control club he may stay as chairman but can be out voted by other 2. In a board of 4 his casting vote as chairman is a real factor. So what are options ? 1) Voting changes to show ownership. This still in practice gives casting vote to SP as Textor and 1 other still need to vote for something to get a majority. this plus a public softening of the clubs attitude to multi club ownership is in my view is probable outcome as it was SP vote with EPL on this subject without board discussion that started the rift 2)A third party buys Textor shares but will they accept the voting structure so I still think Option 1 is relevant. Then is devil you know better than Devil you don't 3) Club buys back shares so ownership is then split between existing 3 based on current ownership. This is possible but requires club to find money to buy out textor and his loans. This will cause cash flow problems unless Loans are taken out either from a bank or from the American owners. 4) Purchase of textors shares by existing owners either individually or together. Slightly different to 3 as effectively if club buys shares it cancels them. If any 1 individual buys textors shares they in practical terms own club as they have over 50% and can remove and appoint directors etc. Personally I would go for 1 and come to an agreement with Textor about voting rights and public stance on multi club ownership. Its a fudge and not 100% in favour but in balance it allows things to move forward in stregthening team

Don't forget Robert Francos 5%, with one of the 4% minor shareholders, could in theory, take a new buyer to 51% and overall owner.

I'm sure it's already been said, but there is the possibility that someone might look to buy Textor, Harris, Blitzer, and all the other reindeer's shares to gain a controlling interest. Whatever happens, I just hope that Parish remains in charge.
