I sympathise but I don't want to punish EU people's lives are at stake. The EU would do better to see if it can help the drug companies speed up the re-tooling rather than punishing the UK which is an innocent 3rd party.

One more point

None of us know what the wording in the contract is reference the EU and its drug supplies, but let's step back a minute and analyse...the EU has not approved the vaccine yet. So if they don't approve it, what do they have to pay the drug company for not honouring their side of the agreement?
Is the centralisation of the EU project the reason for them being behind the UK on vaccine rollout? Or is it that the rumoured French developed vaccine has failed and now the EU is looking for someone else to blame?
