Absolute s***e no idea, no creativity, subs all wrong surely he needed to change formation and keep attacking players on never looked like scoring, Zaha did not look interested if this is a sign of what’s to come then its going to a tough season total s***e. Based on this we will be lucky to stay up. With this group we should be doing far better just not good enough. Q? What happened to all the players YOU were adamant CPFC were going to get, through your sources? Just asking like
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

There is no balance in the side, zaha up top doesn't work. Him and Townsend either flank, meyer, luka and kouyate in a midfield 3. Cahill for dann, and just a new rb needed. Surely that would have been a better side today. Camarasa looks decent, he can unlock defences as a player who's is next in. The team is ok, better then the performance today, buy Roy doeant help himself. The subs were poor when you are chasing a game.

This may tick people off, but we were better under Pardew. I still believe he would have kept us up, and he would have signed defenders in that January transfer window that he got sacked just before. However, we do have a board more interested in just keeping the money then spending it. Why? because of the poxy stadium refurbishment plans plus we have americans on the board. I am yet to see a club with successful american owners who the fan base have not had issues with. As for the squad they are capable of more, however Hodgson is making the more negative in their play which is not suitable. I feel Benteke gets way too harshly criticised as we do not play to his strengths. Zaha still needs to learn when to pass and when to take on the man or men! Zaha would not get away with that sh*t at a top team, as their fans would not tolerate it after a while.

Very depressing and the team lacked desire! As said previously, we should’ve known how Sheffield were going to play tactically. Roy plays zaha up top when this clearly didn’t work last season. He brings on Wickham 10 minutes too late and I have to say - Dann and his constant backwards passing and the teams inability to be creative is really very worrying. Hopefully they watch the whole game as a squad and put the rights wrong moving forward with Man Utd!

Everyone cast your minds back to the end of last season... Playing really nice, fluid football with a front 3 of Zaha, Batshuayi, Andros... Summer time... Just buy a striker comfortable with the ball at his feet and we'll be nicely set up... Plenty of time to find one... Our f***ing board and Freedman are dangling our PL status over a fire. f***ing idiots.

We played into there hands, they are a very good fast solid team, when we ventured into there half we always looked to pass the ball sideways or backwards and when chased down went for the hoof which was too easy for there defenders.

We need to stop with this Meyer experiment. If there is no place for him in the team then so be it. He is not a left winger. Get Zaha and Townsend onto the wings where they belong. PVA is just s***e, end of discussion. Schlupp should never be allowed near a football pitch ever again. Jimmy Mac is done for at this level, hopefull McCarthy stays fit because we badly need him. Luka gets away with blue murder by the fans week in and out. His set pieces are appaling and he is not contributing much else. We can critise Benteke all we like but what in the name of god is he supposed to do with service like that. Roy needs to grow some balls and drop some of his favourites because that was up there with a performance from when FDB was in charge. A lot of good points here. I got a bit of pushback on criticising McArthur but he was woeful last week and this. I’d have McCarthy and Camarasa starting next match and Ayew back in for Wilf. Cahill should bring some order at the back. Either way that whole team was absolutely pathetic today. I’ve generally stood by RH but he has to take a lot of criticism for that. Wrong starting XI, inexplicable subs, no tactics and no heart in the team. Robbing fans, it’s insulting. We’ll be doomed if this continues. We’ve only ever looked a threat with a Chelsea loanee playing around the top. Why this has not been addressed is mind boggling. Dougie Freedman is an absolute scumbag and Parish is gambling with the club
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He can never do the simple thing and is a pure liability at times. I agree about Benteke, he done absolutley nothing wrong today but that service was abysmal. We need a complete change in personel and tactics.

All us supporters have been totally short-changed by this abject dross. Totally agree I am embarrassed by that. Still SP had a nice tan and had BFF Bright next to him

I said to supporters after the window closed that this would be a real season of struggle and I am even more convinced of it after today's performance. Weaknesses in both full-back positions, strikers who don't score goals,I could go on and on and on. You gotta be pleased Willo , if we get relegated you will be right for once , only will have taken 7 seasons.

We were s*** and if we moved it any slower we would be playing in a pensioner league. Where were the bloody ball boys as well? Not that we deserved to get back into the game but it really helped slow the game down for United when ball went out of play. Not an excuse as we were s*** and fully deserved to lose but the time wasting both on and off the pitch was appalling. How many times did the ref get in the way? Lucky neither team moved the ball like Man City!!
