lets hope so...busted leg for capoue would be karma....!
and a penalty or two against you for obvious dives would be the icing on the cake

What goes around comes around.. Capoue will get his.. I don't mean by us but when you go round making 'tackles' like that, eventually karma has a habit of catching up with you..

Watford were always going to beat us eventually.. We've taken the piss out of them on the pitch for so long that they were always going to get a win against us at some point... Lets move on...

C'mon let's be realistic... There's always one side who are s*** that start the season well.. This year is their turn... They will finish mid table/bottom half once the bubble bursts.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Believe me - Capoue hardly makes any sort of tackle - let alone a dangerous reckless one like that .

It's usually us who do start well and perform badly after Christmas- done it for the past 4 season !

No, we wouldn't. The failure of the football authorities to take dangerous play seriously and protect players from deliberate attacks like the one perpetrated by your player yesterday is treated with the utmost gravity in these fora. Maybe we have particular reason to be concerned about this, but the only circumstances in which we would be "peeing ourselves" would be if it were our player being accused and if he were wholly innocent (highly likely).

For example, many of us were critical of Jason Puncheon when he appeared (false alarm, fortunately) to have injured de Bruyne in the final moments of our 0 - 0 home draw with Manchester City, and incident in respect of which he could very easily have been sent off. He however was not malicious and deliberate, as your player was, but merely clumsy and panicking.

And in case you think the idea of players being prosecuted for deliberate attempts to injure opponents is that ridiculous:

Now, be a good chap and f*** off to Away Fans.

I reckon you missed the point there. I think Superhorns3 (a good poster on HOL) was saying that Capoue generally doesn't make tackles. He also indicated he thought that particular tackle was dangerous and reckless. No point being nasty to SH3, it's not his fault and he isn't defending Capoue.

Meanwhile SH3 you also seem to have misinterpreted KBLF. He was saying exactly that, Watford will start well but likely go off.

I thought Watford looked workmanlike and somewhat cloggy. They did not look as cultured as the Palace overall and I don't see them in the top half on that performance. The weather suited Watford better than Palace.

Not being nasty to SH, just that every time theres a 'tackle ' like that some fan says 'hes not that sort of player' and he obviously is! It was the other watford t*** (harrowhorn) who said the tactic worked so its ok as do most of the watford fans on their forum...we'll see when peryaya gets clogged out of games, maybe their attitude will change.

trying to think of bad tackles by Palace players down the years...Henry Hughton on Ryan...Punch on Dr Bruyne...are 2 that spring to mind.

my impression is we don't criticize our own that much. only capoue knows if that was pre-meditated.

Didn't Dann "do" Aguero a few years back?
Anyone old enough to remember Bert Howe who regularly put wingers into the terracing, think his nickname was shovel foot

That really was horrendous, was in the Whitehorse end and heard the crack (I think the tackle was near halfway line in front of Arthur Wait stand)

Yeah, I was crucified on here for calling out Punch's reckless and dangerous tackle on KDB on here (after non one had even mentioned it)

I was even accused of being a City fan by some on here for bringing attention to it.
