1. Nope. I'm from 'the side' who was ambivalent enough not to vote in the referendum, but thinks no deal stems from a batsh*t delusion that you can step out of the globalised world, and is now just resigned to watching our country crash and burn.

2. Nope. I read all of the posters on here in all of their tediousness. I've never no platformed anyone, I've never told someone they can't speak, but I recognise that some people have loud voices and little to say, while others have quiet voices with a lot to say. A good society amplifies the latter.

3. That one you can have. But don't you worry why for 50 years, the rich have been able to pay less and less tax, while the security given to the poor has been eradicated in tandem? That inequality has been allowed to rise with almost no pushback, and that while successive governments have been willing to tackle, say, immigration, climate change, even racism to a degree, none of them have done anything to stop the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer? Isn't it valid to ask why? Why are disabled people not given the money to live with dignity? Why are refuges for victims of domestic abuse being closed? Why are children entering a world with less opportunities than their parents, all while billionaires make money off our work and pay nothing back?

My pain is where people are trying to write posts as if to suggest that being white is some kind of persecuted trait.

I can see the viewpoint. However, I would have thought it is no longer the case. Highest chance of cancer and heart attack, no real national screening programs, high chance of being assaulted or worse, high chance of being divorced and certainly losing much, high chance of working until death for poor money and barely any benefits, lowest income supports from welfare. The benefits aren't there anymore, not like I can just beat my wife and kids till they obey, which seems to be the narrative of past behaviour that I never really witnessed. I can't rape and pillage anymore either, so all my hobbies have gone - according to the wonderful academics we have. Even my penchant to conquer and enslave is out of touch.
The biggest victims are out there protesting about something. A guy was killed in Minneapolis - wrongly by the look of it. Before that some women were touched up by an ugly music producer. Apparently, I must even apologise for this: Somehow my fault, as is - the British Empire, Roman Empire, winning the war, US slavery. The list will never end until I am disenfranchised, so it seems.
The white males are perhaps the last to realise they are the targets of something out of all of our hands. I wish I hadn't noticed.

This is what I mean by victim complex, no one is asking you to apologise for those things, you perceive it that way because you spend time reading the posts of like minded people on this forum who also think that way. People on this forum seem to hunt out sources of information that they perceive to back up their viewpoints and give a skewered view on how things really are. I had a friend a few years ago that exclusively read sources of information about police brutality and as a result thought the scale of it was so much greater than the reality. I think that is the case with many posters on this site, there is a perception that your way of life is under attack because the media many of you consume tells you (based off many of the youtube videos I have seen posted here anyway). I remember a thread that had hundreds of posts about a transgender person and people getting enraged by it, the article that was posted came from Pink News... What do you expect to find if you visit a gay news website?

The vast majority of people just want to be able to get on with their life, earn a wage and make sure they can raise a family in relative comfort. The people out protesting at the moment obviously feel they can't do that given the level the police disproportionately kill unarmed black people in the US.
