We"re finally out the bottom three! Thank god for that. It felt so good to see those asshole watford fans shut up after we scored twice. Three points, at last! Onwards and upwards

Agree on Townsend, Cabaye not that bad IMHO, some decent long passes, again Benteke did not contribute anything game changing. Schlupp barely OK, PVA usual rubbish. Good from Sako and the ever reliable JImmy Mac. I thought Cabaye had a brilliant game, lots of good interceptions, no grandiose moments but an unsung hero.

What a day! Lady that I had been harbouring lustful thoughts(!?) for, came on to me and made it crystal clear that she was not at all adverse to getting to know each other a little better(!). Result One. Sako, game changing sub! Result Two. Jimmy Mac, oh Jimmy mac! result Three. Out of bottom Three! Result Four. No more Asian eagle! Result Five. Now due to result One I'm off, Gonna sleep well tonight.

Clearly a stronger and better side than us but nicked it thanks to a match winning save and some clever subs from our wise old manager. Well done Roy.

Typical Palace. Draw a game we should win and win a game we should lose. Meanwhile, it's Silva who is complaining about not getting a red card on the PVA challenge. Here's the world's smallest violin playing My Heart Bleeds!

The send off definitely had an impact, point taken. We should have had a penalty for the rugby tackle on Benteke too. Wonder if Benteke would have taken it?

Obviously a superb result even if the performance was actually a bit poor bar the last 10mins. Why is it, bar Chelsea, we tend to win the games we play poorly in and draw the ones we play well in? Anyway, I have a question: I had a peek at the Watford forums and, pre-match, they really seem to hate us and, particularly, Zaha. Why is that? Because we beat them in the Playoff final and the FA Cup semi-final? Sure, Zaha won a penalty in the first of these but it clearly WAS a pen and I forget the latter. I detect a team that, like Charlton, are desperate for a rival... we don’t really give a s*** about them though so they should look elsewhere. As for this match: we got lucky with PVA’s non sending off potentially but Cleverley clearly deserved to go. Our goals were two excellent bits of play by that man they hate so much and they dominated large parts of the game so they really only have themselves to blame.

I think Luton will have something to say about that.
