Veritas have good form on this - I remember the series of undercover videos of Facebook / Twitter engineers boasting about how they shut down accounts that support Trump.

Social media is essentially a Neo-Marxist censorship tool. They control the access, they control the content.

I'm going to check out Gab in the next few days - they've recently launched "Dissenter":

It allows you to leave comments on essentially any resource on the internet, and as per Gab's policy, is not censored.

Remember though, if you look into it: Gab was used by a bad person, and therefore it is itself bad. No one on Facebook or Twitter has broken the law. Nor have they ever murdered anyone. Nor have they bragged about it on there, glorified it, nor incited others to do the same, nor incited acts of terror. No. That's just "right-wing Gab".

Bit equally your link is to the BBC? If you read the story this is a historic case alleging events when he was a minor and from many many years ago. The story was also reported in the Guardian hardly a left wing cover up.

The hypocrisy and bare face manipulation of the truth was simply breath taking.....but to be honest it's just all a day's work for these people.

What really really angers me....is when you hear the defence of censoring conservative voices on these platforms by those on the left....using the libertarian argument (something they would normally never touch) that these are private companies who can do what they want.

Ok....I can disagree with the political bias....but it is at least a coherent argument.

However, then when conservatives seek to open up their own platforms......they get closed down and have relentless attacks.

As far as I can see there is no point seeking compromise with dishonest and disingenuous people.

Do they? Perhaps you are right......mind you he gets a lot of the class snobbery stuff.

Robinson is what he is.....I like him.....but he comes with some issues, some of his own making and others that he's been unfairly tarred with.

What matters is that without him, there is no one.....He is a release valve for a lot of steam....and I'm not so sure on your confidence about replacements....or nicer ones anyway.

The Douglas Murray's of the world know to stay in their ivory towers.

As the situation worsens.....We don't even know what's going to be possible. The state is pretty authoritarian as it is.
