I admire your standpoint... but I would rather stay in the Premiership by having a striker who can score goals. Niasse did more yesterday than Benteke did in the first 7 games.

Let's not forget our Wilf is prone to throwing himself to the floor at the slightest touch.

Palace fans defending Niasse and a citing Wilf to make their point. Baffling.

Not really. I appreciate how you're trying to twist this but it won't work.

I've simply said that I admire her standpoint but Niasse was a real handful. Or are you happy with our striker situation and wouldn't want someone like Niasse??

He dived... it's football... players dive. Like I said even our own Wilf has been guilty of it in the past. If people are gonna take the moral high ground and say that they don't want divers in the team then every team in the country may as well get rid of half there squad.

Appreciate how your trying to twist my words, but I never mentioned our striking situation.

He's never dived no??

Guys... I love Wilf as much as the next Palace fan. He is an unbelievable talent he really is but in my opinion he goes down a bit to easy sometimes.

And I never defended Niasse so I guess we're even.

Just like to state again, we need a new keeper in Jan.

Genius, nobody else thought of that.

That's actually a bit different from diving.

Wilf can very occasionally lose his footing/balance and when challenged can appear to fall a little theatrically.

Niasse blatantly threw himself to the ground. That's diving.

You'd think...

I said it a couple weeks ago, that it was as vital as much as a striker and i got mugged off for it.

Everytime I watch the highlights I just pray that Speroni just smashes the bloody ball 90yrds down the pitch. So, so, so frustrating! What could have been.

The way we're playing still provides me with optimism however we're currently managing to find all the ways possible of how to throw away points. Slips (Mili vs WH), open goals (Zaha, Dann vs Spurs and Burnley), flukey deflections (Newcastle), then came the Everton double of horrendous ref decision and defensive howler. Reckon that'd be a swing of at least 5pts - which would leave me feeling a little more confident.

Here's hoping lady luck comes to visit over the next few weeks and we see a 5 game winning streak we can all dream!

A good take on yesterday’s controversy on TCP.
