As others here have noted, Hull's second half was based on home form alone. How much of that was the players and how much was how they were prepared I'll never know. The commentators stated several times that for corners and free kicks etc Hull went for zonal marking rather than man marking. That's all well and good until someone like Benteke manages to get into a zone that isn't marked and subsequently scores

I don't know how wedded mangers in general or Silva in particular are to the idea but It's obvious to me that zonal marking in the Palace defence would be suicide.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roll the Dyche ' by Guntrisoft He's done a superb job at Burnley on a low budget. He's got similar traits to Sam and pulis who were both successful Palace managers. When ever you see a Burnley side. One thing your can't point at them is that they don't give their all. Their one of the most hard working teams in the league. He actually priorities the defence first. We all love the likes of Mancini, hiddink and big names but is that realistic. He would actually bring stability also if the worst come to it, he has 2 promotions from the championship. Let's go and get the ginger mourinho

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roll the Dyche ' by Guntrisoft It's an appealing idea, but don't forget, that we would have to pay compensation to Burnley, as you would for any manager under contract. Money that could be spent on improving the squad. There are still I think some decent managers out there that are not under contract. I wouldn't kick off though if we did get the ginger one.

Would be keen, but I doubt he would be. Money talks. Look at the players at Palace compared to Burnley. He's wouldn't be working with Benteke at Burnley. Also Burnley could lose heaton , gray and Keane all this summer.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roll the Dyche ' by Guntrisoft Agree his style suits Palace, also sure I saw somewhere that it would take somewhere in the region of 1 mill in compensation, which is not ridiculous money these days. For me one of his biggest plus points, in that he seems like a man who has bought into the concept of seeing a job as a long term project building something at a club could work against us. I'm not convinced he sees his job at Burnley finished.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roll the Dyche ' by Guntrisoft Heaton keep 10 clean sheets in 35 games this season. The only concern with dyche is his away form. But imagine this lineup in first game of season :- heaton, trippier, dann, Keane or b.mee, schlupp, Cabaye, luka , Townsend, Zaha , gray and Benteke. That team would be awesome
