Much can still happen but I think we should forget about trying to qualify for Europe this season.

Even the fair play option is beyond us.

^This, even the second paragraph is a little far-fetched

I cannot believe what I've just witnessed... we cannot keep ahold of the ball at all... no quality shown whatsoever and its getting to the point now where I can't even defend the team anymore against those giving us flack... so we're playing absolutely dire and I look to the bench and there is not one match winner on there, NOT ONE!... I fear for our premier league status if drastic changes are not made.

Check your PMs.

Been waiting for mutch to happen for a while now.

It's clearly obvious we need 3 or 4 players who can come straight into the team and fight.

Remains to be seen if the board are prepared to invest and if we can tempt the right players to come.

Full credit to the Campbell and Sako for showing some desire. Cabaye was the only player who managed to pass the ball accurately and once Wilf was moved to the right (why the hell he hasn't been starting there???) he was a threat. Aside from that it was woeful. It strikes me that perhaps sacking Pardew was not a popular decision with the first XI; of course they need to suck it up and show some desire now.

Unless Kelly has been hiding something from us he needs to go. Go away. He is a truly awful fullback. Even the bottom teams just look at our team and go "attack the wings and ye shall score!" And they do. Every game.

We need some strong characters in the team. McArthur will be key and hopefully if Remy stays fit and Bentenke isn't too badly hurt then we can find some threat. The first half was probably the worst performance in four years and I'm not blaming Allardyce, but there was no spirit, which despite all the problems was not something we were missing under Pardew.

Screw the FA Cup and lets build and recover for West Ham.

We are s***e . I'm not sure we should be trusting the future of our club to someone who thinks he should move our best player out of position to accommodate one who has probably been our worst this season .
OK we should have had a pen and been playing against 10 men for an hour and maybe another in the second half with the hand ball but that doesn't excuse that crud .
We did at least give it a go in the second half when we got the lightweights off the pitch but still not good enough to break down the bottom side . Both there goals were down to poor defenders defending poorly

We really need to get some players in ,and fast.

two absolutely stone-cold pens not given ... that's the kind of luck we need when we're struggling.

Like the gift to Benteke v Southampton a few weeks ago

And of course our record with penalties is so f***ing good isn't it, we need to get a striker who's not a lazy b****** and can score goals

Dunno about that. We were s*** under pardew but we were scoring, had spirit and fight. But we hadn't been thisthis dire in a long time. Losing 2-1/to Swansea tonight was worse than 5-4. At least then we came back well same with Burnley and hull. Tonight there was just capitulation and almost a desire to lose after getting back.

Regretfully, it is all the same mistakes, we cannot defend, the basic skill of any foot ball team, scoring goals is secondary first you have to stop the other team scoring then over 90 minutes you will get your chances, Pardew and SP are at fault they tried to be a top six team when they clearly were a bottom three team with a few expensive misfits that others wanted to offload!

We did deserve to lose, but two penalty decision going against us cannot help confidence that we are ever going to catch a break.

You think we'd have scored them? I'm almost glad they weren't given, it would have been even more depressing to lose 2-1 and have missed two pens.

In fairness, our lads didn't have much time to recover from the Arsenal match. Probably drained mentally as well as physically.

Here's hoping a decent result v Bolton will restore a bit of confidence.

On the bright side we conceded 3 less than last time we played Swansea.

This sits firmly at Pardew's door, though questions have to be asked why he was allowed to carry on for so long.

No wonder the players look like they wanted Pardew, the fitness levels are shocking.

Major surgery required, I know which of Pardew and Big Sam I'd hand my money too and expect them to sign a decent player (ignoring comments about skimming)

To all those doubting BFS there is a reason he has never been relegated and a reason Palace never seemed to beat his teams. They tend to be well setup, but Christ knows he has inherited a mess.

Jedi out not replaced
Bolasie out replaced with a lazy, sulking prima Donna
Murray out with replacement
Gayle out without replacement

Granted Benteke has come in, but neither he nor Cabaye have set the world alight.

This isn't Sam's team. Underperforming, on a bad run, unfit, lacking confidence - these are all hallmarks of how Pardew leaves a club.

Will never forget with Pardew the playoff year and him having "the academy" stamped all over the West Ham staff tops. All about the image, whereas Neil Shipperly wasn't overly concerned with image and had reputation as dour, but I know which one i would want in the trenches with me. Same as with Pardew or BFS

With BFS will be no comments or decisions like

Bringing on a striker with 5 mins to go against United when you have just equalised.
No picking a keeper based on distribution rather than ability to stop the ball.
No playing Zaha in the middle and Mcarthur on the right.
No stupid comments about "clean sheets not being overly important"
No Patrick Sanogo.

Apart from Tony Pulis there is no one better for this situation, it's a dog fight, it doesn't suit a Mancini style, it's a war to stay up.
