Have a few Sunderland fans at my work and one who has good links in football with boro. They backup the thinking that he is best going forwards rather than defending but did say that he is arguably there best player with Defoe and are dissapointed to see him leave. They also said he isnt as bad defensivly as some Sunderland fans make out but interestingly and possibly most importantly they said Big Sam got the best out of PVA they had seen from him defensivly

Benteke was £27m plus add-ons. Given our situation I doubt they will trigger.
