Someone on the bbs said that reports in France say he'll be signing for wait for it. West Ham Sorry to say this, but WMU are a far more established PL 'name' than Palace, and are about to move into a brilliant Olympic stadium, and pay higher wages. Difficult to compete against that Firstly, WHU might be a bigger name, but, let's face it, they've been utter pants for several seasons now and have got out of jail several times when looking like relegation candidates. As for the Olympic Stadium, it will be utterly lifeless and half of it will be empty most games. They'll all need binoculars to see anything. Stadiums don't give you advantages. Fans do.
Absolute bollox. Another one fallen for the West Ham propaganda machine. Average club, average fans, believe they won the World Cup and have some how bagged a 45k capacity stadium for only 12m in an area where Leyton Orient are the local club, an absolute disgrace. Fallen for the propaganda machine ? No I just know what I'm talking about , and don't have palace tinted glasses on , they have been a fairly average club yes but have huge potential , so what part is bollocks , do you not think west ham will get an extra 10 k fans in from moving to a state of the art stadium? ,which won't result in increased revenue then no? and if they keep signing players like payet and manage to get the likes of cabaye they will challenge the top 8 and even the top 6 , you seem to be waffling on about nothing , I haven't mentioned west hams history , or them moving in on an orient area and I also haven't said they are a great club with great fans , the facts are this stadium regardless of how they have got it will give west ham the opportunity to become a top club instead of , like you said , an average one.
WTF has how long he's been on this forum for got to do with anything? He may have supported Palace all his life but only signed up recently to add his views. He may also have been a season ticket holder for a number of years in the lower Holmesdale, therefore not needing to scrounge a ticket from someone on here!!! What could happen (your phrase), is that we could grow and eclipse Wet Spam, who haven't done fvck all for years, we also beat them in the PO final, remember that? Two bob club and fans. Anyway, has Cabaye signed yet? Edited by Plane (30 Jun 2015 2.29pm) Do you reckon it's the West Ham fan we saw in the pub by Liverpool Street giving it the big'un after we tonked them at their place - seems to share a lot of the same characteristics! Anyway looks like this is gathering some legs again, will be over the moon if we can pull this off! Mirror saying it could be done by next week, but the Mirror does say a lot of things... A west ham fan who's been going to selhurst park for the best part for over 20 years, good one, and it's got everything to do with it laddo when I'm being told to post on a west ham forum , just because I think a stadium will allow them to kick on , especially by someone who could quite easily be one of the new fans we've gained in the last two years , and what would you know of my character ? one things for sure don't need my mates to back me up on here like you haha , whether you two like it or not west ham getting a huge stadium for f*** all will help them , I'm guessing both of you want selhurst redeveloped ?

Would be an unbelievable signing but still just cannot see it happening. Schneiderlin, to United, on the other hand I can see and that would surely make Southampton favourites to then sign him. West Ham aren't the team we should worry about, attractive stadium etc yes but nothing Pardew can't handle with a few words to a guy he worked with. Southampton on the other hand, would clearly be a more attractive proposition.
We're the Arthur over ere! |

I'm calm , just pointing out the obvious , and at least we agree on something, cabaye would be a fantastic signing and a real sign of intent for this window , let's get him over the line!!!

Has there been anything more reliable to indicate this might actually happen than bookies odds, tabloid reports and dodgy ITK ex-models on Twitter? I'm trying to protect myself from more Ross McCormack-esque heartache when he suddenly announces he's going to Roma or somewhere else instead.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Believe nothing until you see the official photo with him holding up a Palace shirt with his name on it; personally I never do.

So true; that's the cue to prepare for a big disappointment.
