So sad. A real gent and someone who could be relied on whatever he did. Carried respect throughout the boards and, as a fellow Moderator, his work to keep the boards ticking over was understated, underappreciated and tireless. He will be missed by so many people in so many ways on this site. See you later, staffie. Eagles!

So utterly saddened to hear of this . I followed his links all of the time. I read his comments on saturday morning and was a bit stunned at the time as to how he even then managed to still post links. I didnt know him. But I know a good soul when I 'pass' one.

R.I.P. staffie Genuinely saddened by this news. Cant believe its happened but cant thank the man enough for his links that have helped me follow the Palace over the years. Hope we can show our respect for him Saturday.

Absolutely stunned. Since he was taken ill on Saturday I’d been hoping to hear he was OK, but this is sad news indeed. I never met the man and made no use of the links he posted, but I always looked out for the team news on his match thread. I know how much he meant to so many on here and he will be greatly missed. It will be strange not to see his regular posts any more. Thank you staffie and RIP.

Just seen this - really shocked and saddened. Like most of us I never met staffie however only last week he PM me to help with the match links. Very sad day..
