Delaney is getting on a bit, we saw how quickly Gabbidon faded last season.

Delaney is a damn sight fitter than Gabbidon was or ever had been and Delaney has never had the injury problems Gabbidon has, so I reckon he's got another two years in him.

I agree that we need to look for a long term replacement for DD but I can't agree that Gaddidon faded last season. If anything his performances improved as the season went on, up until the point he was replaced by Dann.

Blimey. People are talking like he's put pen to paper. Let's see what happens before accusing him of being greedy.

Redknapp had him at Tottenham before and didn't play him. Maybe Caulker will see through all that gobsh*te that Redknapp spews

Don't think Coulsdon or I accused him of being greedy. We were talking about QPR appearing to do some good business and potentially gearing up for success.

Lots of people thought Chris Samba would save QPR when he signed for them. One good player doesn't make the team.

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

He's gone to QPR. I new as soon as they got promoted they'd be poaching all our targets and getting ahead of us in attracting them but the good news is they they are now out of the market for centre backs and we've still got the money to play with.
Surely there are some good defenders in the championship who fancy a crack at the premier league or some good veteran's at Premier league clubs who fancy being back up for Dann and Delaney.

We should go for either Michael Dawson or Brede Hangeland, they wouldn't cost too much and both have Premiership experience.

who do we haveann/Delaney/Ramage/Mariapa.

is that enough experience at the back ?

maybe it is.So then lets go out and look for young up and coming centre backs ie Harry Maguire/Jack Hobbs/Grant Hanley.Maybe the could step up and could be the answer.

i mentioned Grant Hanley a week or so ago and the fact that him and Scott Dann know each others game from Danns Blackburn days
is a massive advantage also.

is Maguire the lad who plays for Sheff utd??

Still not confirmed, but Redknapp talking like it is! Would love it now, if he snubbed them for us...
