The constant avoiding giving a definite answer in this article would worry me if I was a Cherries fan.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

I think the transcript gets it wrong: it says 'I have tremendous affection for the club, for the fans, for the players and it would be very, very difficult to leave.' Whereas I hear: 'I have tremendous affection for the club, for the fans, for the players and it will be very, very difficult to leave.' Or is my hearing playing tricks on me?

I'd be very worried - that alone has almost convinced me he's coming...

My gut feeling is that he'll turn us down because he still has unfinished business at Bournemouth. In the play offs and a possible shot at the Championship. Edited by Everlast (05 Jan 2011 10.08pm) My gut feeling is the financial sh*t is about to hit the fan again at Bournemouth - perhaps Howe has been told he has to sell more players and he now thinks he has taken the club as far as it can go with Eddie Mitchell as chairman. So Howe may want to leave before the season turns into a slow puncture and whilst his stock is still high. It is obvious he loves Bournemouth and I still feel he'll remain loyal to your club. He may also be forcing your chairman's hand into supporting him in the transfer window by 'threatening' to leave. Oldest ploy in the book.

I don't think he need to force our chairmens hand to do that. Our chairmen has already stated that funds will be available for this transfer window. It is a very indecisive interview. However the fact that he is taking the Plymouth game on Saturday would suggest to me, he has not made his mind up. However surely his mind cannot be 100% focused. Edited by jaxon (06 Jan 2011 4.10pm)
