Why don't you jog-off to your spiritual home in North Korea.

Can't argue about Trump but America is a fantastic country and you clearly have no idea what the definition of a police state is.

Interesting piece on polling errors from Nate Silver. Main takeaway is that conventional wisdom usually overestimates (so less likely for big Tory win than everyone thinks) but the likely outcome is very hard to tell and could be anything from a small Labour win to a Tory Landslide based on polling methods, polling averages, bias and average error. Take nothing for granted!

?

Miliband was near equal with Cameron in the last election's polls.

Labour will be battered and that's been obvious for a long time.

The point being that the general consensus was that there would be a hung parliament and was ignoring polls that showed a swing towards the Tories...

The interesting fact is that accepted wisdom has been pretty poor in recent years and has lead people and pollsters to ignore what the data is really telling them. The article points out that pollsters suppressed a poll showing Tories winning outright in 2015 as it was believed to be en error as it didn't fit with other polls. Pollsters were also guilty of bias by herding. Less of that this time round.

I'd suggest you read the article.

No, you're not safe to go to a polling station.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
